So? I go in for my last mud day of the year----because the weather was weirdly warm....and I saw the forecast for nothing but lower temps....(im still contemplating going back out once more but thats a whole other story)
anyhoooo---I go out and forget....duh...its fall.
Where I have been in the mud is an old boat ramp---down the way a bit? Is an old dam barge---before the boat ramp is a bridge and about a 30 or 40 foot drop? There is the creek and the mud...
So? needless to say---to get in it? We have all been injured or fell in or whatever....many times....
people fish out there...people come out there and park and do "whatever they are doing in their cars" Kentucky is weird. Wam is not looked at in a cool way....but I have had some really cool people I have met that I have had to mud up in front of, or that have been on the dock while im washing off nude in the river...they have been super nice (if you see mine and nikkos video, we had a couple there fishing and also helping me find mud and making sure I didnt get stuck down in the creek bc i was alone at first, fishing for mud
anyway---a lot of times the best mud and safest to get to is under the bridge--where people drive over.
This last time---ill get back to the leaves bc it is, indeed, fall here. I noticed there were leaves on top of my mud....but, the mud was so incredible, so deep, so perfect---I did not care.
but? here comes my day.
Camera man was late, I had a hair appointment at 11. I had only "this much" time to enjoy the mud once more.
with him being late? That kinda messed with me...(i really wanted to have this on film AND i offered a discounted rate to someone to play in a certain outfit which? I ended up loving so much!) So then? We get there and no one is there....I treck down the steep drop by myself and find that this mud is just, insane.
So awesome.
I am hollering for him to get his ass down there.
He does and im already like knee deep in it....
So, I tell him to go ahead and roll cam on me bc I see more mud I know is super deep. Now lets kick it back to: I had a certain amount of time to play, which saddened me....the leaves had fallen...I start to play and I realize that this mud had some black leaves that were broken down on the top layer. You cant see them but I could feel them.
So? I also have a guy who doesnt just roll by and watch for a second but puts his vehicle in park, proceeds to record me and i let him for a while but once I get to this point im so turned on? I wanna get out of my suit and play? I ask him politely if he doesnt mind to please not watch me, I said "i cant do my "job" with you watching me, sir, im sorry , do you please mind if I finish playing alone?" so he sits there like im an asshole and then? He "leaves" but no....he parked down the road and creeped through the trees to watch me, my camera man is trying to film me having fun but he keeps looking off like hes gonna kick someones ass....
I am at the point where Im like "fuck it, im having fun" but I did look up in the trees a few times like "is this guy gonna kill me?" lol!
So? anyway...I have gone past my time limit in the mud because it was so fucking fun (hence why I am considering going back one last time even though its cold now)
I walk all the way to the boat ramp in the river from where im at and realize by now? I cannot shower before my hair appointment and once I go to rinse? I realize that my long, super thick hair? has gone all these tiny black pieces in it from broken down leaves.
I am in the river trying my hardest to get it out and I think I HAVE for the most part.....but then? As we speed to make it to myi hair appointment? I take my hair down out of my towel and see my hair is like, shedding these tiny little black pieces of leaves. I realize there is still mud in my hair, in my ears, on my body.....and I have to go into this little salon....
I get there on time! There are like 4 other people getting their hair done.
I sit down and I had texted her I was going to the mud first but I would shower----all I could do was say "im sorry" as this poor gal is literally brushing out pieces of earth from my head, in front of everyone. As she dries my hair? It does not smell great. lol! She had to turn on a fan and EVERYONE was staring at me!
AT this point ? I dont give a shit. I had the coolest mud spot. I got off in it....I had a good time.....the guy did take away from some of my fun bc it was hard once i realized that he had one hand inside and one hand on the camera....but? I decided to just roll with it and have fun.....
so? IM not kidding when I say that there was a PILE in the floor of mud and tiny little black leaves she had to brush out. I had not even had a shower!
So? She gets it done and washes my hair. So my hair smells great but my body is still in need of a good shower! oh but life had other plans for me
not only did I not get a shower until like 6 pm due to "mom duties" and things at the school, hotel living and all that?
but? I paid extra for my stylist bc it took her a good 45 mins just to get as much mud out as she could to re do the color on the bottom of my hair,
my camera man was mad bc i docked his pay bc he was late, but?
I got to play in this awesome mud. Even if for a few minutes!
I wanna go back so bad--but? Having red in your hair? The mud will rip it right out...but? this weekend? IM considering it so hard. I wont be able to rinse in the river bc it is cold by now but man....I wanna go back!

I also have a question: I have all this mud content....with not being able to afford a lot of mess this summer? I did a lot of mud....had to pay my camera man but WORTH IT----but to ask you guys---do you all think I should put out all my mud stuff first? Or each week would you all appreciate some messy and then mud bi weekly? I have noticed over the years that mud buyers usually stop coming around after like, august....and I have enough to keep going until like november or longer....would you all like to see some other messes mixed in? Thanks!

another question: why does it not let you use all caps in telling a story? I know that my story is not written properly, nor do I care bc im just typing as I'm thinking---but using all caps helps tell a story...does anyone know why this is?

With the caps and everything in the story, that is an interesting conundrum. I can see where caps would come in to emphasize something or make something stick out. Not so much yelling as it is sometimes seen, but maybe to grab people's attention about something. Or like when you are describing how much fun you had. There are only so many adjectives out there to describe it and it is a chore coming up with the right adjective and sometimes it is just not there. So an all caps is required. Sure, it is bad grammar and garbage but with the way our use of the English language has advanced we are in need of something more. I use the word fuck a lot in my everyday life because it is so versatile. It expresses frustration, excitement and is great at getting the attention on you in a crowd. If you shift that to writing things up, you get a fucking paragraph full of fucking fucks and then people see it as a crutch because they do not understand the struggle of finding the right way to express the emotion or the importance of what is being said. Look at cartoons, in Looney Tunes, when a character is getting ready to fall and they hold up a sign, all the words are in caps. Is it because they are yelling, or is it because it is an important oh shit moment?

I love how you say "yes it is garbage" hahah! god damn. I love brutal honesty.
I say fuck A LOT in speaking and I use....how do I type this? "well, Guh-DAMN!" or "Gaaaawwwd damn, son!" a lot.
When Im telling a story on here? I dont pay attention to grammar, punctuation or anything like that. I am typing as I'm thinking-fast and furious with a dash of mania. Eh, lets be real, more like a heaping helping of mania.

Always something crazy, always a story to tell. When you find yourself not giving a flying fucking fuck about where, who, what, when, why or how you get into the mud? You just find it and do it? You come out with stories to tell!

You have such a strange life, I love it though! I don't know anyone on this earth quite like you. The people you encounter in your everyday life must be like "WTF is wrong with woman!?" Your poor hairdresser too. I'm glad you got to go out again, and I'm hoping you do again. I was out scouting again (mainly for next year) and I may have found some promising things out near the Philly / NJ border, and a big derelict spring off of a trail that runs past my house (doesn't look good for mud though).

All-caps comes over in text as shouting, and is also harder to read than mixed or lower case. It's also been abused in the past to spam discounts and sales promos, so MM has restricted how many all-caps words can be used in a post. Generally speaking though, it's best to avoid all-caps, research (originally done into the readability of road signs by passing drivers travelling at speed) has proved that lowercase is much easier for people to read.

If you need a copy editor, I spent a couple of semesters in my undergrad doing so for my college newspaper.

Jayce, I have been a big fan of yours for a long time. Your pratfalls, and goofy looks are over the top. I love the way you get completely covered, whether it is mud or chocolate. Keep up the good work. And if you want to go back to the mud, do it. Take about 4 or 5 1-gallon containers of water, preferably a little warm at least, and then you can have something to at least partially wash yourself, before getting back in the car. I've done that before. It doesn't get all the mud off, but it can get rid of a lot. Then you change clothes and go home.
