Just a heads up for anyone who might want to come along for my birthday do - will advertise this in the main forum in a few weeks time but it's a bit early so think it belongs here for now

Friday 9th June - come along to TV Chixx night (previously known as the big night out) at Pink Punters. It's a brilliant night with a very friendly atmosphere, its created for CD/TV and trans but it is a general LGBT club and anyone... even straight folk are welcome. The staff really look after you and it's not too packed, lots of drinking and dancing, 3 different floors of music and a huge outside section with 3 or 4 firepits for the smokers among you

I have three rooms booked for the Friday night (they are cancellable) at the campanile hotel which is just opposite the club. I originally booked these for me, henners, maria and sploshed but we are in a different option now. If anyone wants one there are two twin rooms and one double, all are £65 and can be cancelled up til the day of the meet. The price is the same whether there's one or two of you sharing so you can bring a friend and split the cost if you want

The campanile is great for any CD/TV nervous about going out dressed 'en femme' as the hotel and staff see this every week of every year for the past 17 years. No one will bat an eyelid and you just walk over the road to the club, no need for taxi's

Getting a message or two in from some folk that would like to come along and it would be their first time out in womens clothing. So excited! Really hope you can make it - anyone else thinking of it seriously go for it, hotel right over the road, likeminded people and you don't have to be on your own at any point. Drink have a laugh and a dance (and then a chilled 'vanilla' meet the next day too)

I'm very tempted... Quite a long way to travel and would be very dependent on work, but I'm another who has never been out of the house in anything approaching cd and this does seem like the perfect opportunity!

You'll be in good company and it'll be a game changer It'll be one of the best things you ever do. I'm even thinking about inviting Sasha to the Splunch on Saturday too, but we'll see haha

I guess I'll just have to wait and see, work is very hectic and shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon.

P.S. Sorry for off-topicness, but is there anything upcoming north of the border. I think i read somewhere that you are often involved in organisation. Feel free to pm me in order not to take the thread away from the point.

I am undertaking a new project soon though that will see me travel about a bit so if I end up in the far north at any point I'll see what I can do
