Maude is so lovely

I love maude. She is just clearly such a joy to be aroud

I never get tired of seeing Maude in the mud. The way she shampoos her hair with the mud makes me weak in the knees. She is an artist.

And yes, Maude is a natural artist and indeed a complete joy to work with, and really, really loves playing in the mud. The very first time she did a full faceplant we'd not even asked her to, she just did it on her own.

And she looks fabulous in almost anything, but really suited this dress, which then muddied up beautifully on her, and we are blessed with a truly fabulous location in the Marsh House mudbanks. Many months to go yet, but looking forward to getting back out there this year, lots more nice outfits due to meet a muddy fate.

Supermaude? Skin tight spandex outfit and boots? Now there's an idea!

And thanks el bauz for commenting on her boots. I've always loved the idea of see-through boots, where you can pour stuff in and watch the level rise up inside them, and these ones went well with the dress.

Usually I like the athletic shoes, but you are right about see-through boots with the ability to watch the mess rise up through the boot, plus you can tell if the model is getting her bare feet messy or if she is getting he socks messy. Yes! The hiking boot dress combo looks amazing on Maude!

Looking at Google maps, anywhere practical on the North bank of the Delaware Bay? Looks like there are a bunch of muddy little rivers and undeveloped land around the Dyer Cove area? Might turn up something similar to our Marsh House mudbanks, though obviously seclusion and privacy will need local knowlege.

Definitely recommend mudplay though, even if non-fetish, just playing in the mud on a hot day is a wonderful feeling.

We've done clear wellies with stripey socks, and filled the boots with custard, watching the clean socks get engulfed was fun. Definitely something we'll be doing more of in future. Though agree about athletic footwear, one of my favourite things for a WAM model to wear on her feet are Converse-style boots. They look good, mess up nicely, and are machine washable too, so ideal for wamming in.

General update: Just looking over these photos again, we really were lucky in picking up that dress. While clearly short enough to be a party or cocktail dress, it's just long enough that the skirt of it hangs really beautifully once it's muddy, looking good and showing off Maude's figure well too. Will definitely have to look for more dresses like that one. Needless to say it washed out fine, so may well be seen again in future scenes.
