I know that this is an extremely long shot but..........would anyone on here that is located in the US be interested in forming a UMD Mud volleyball team? There are several amazing tournaments that are back this summer and I would definitely make travel plans to attend one or more events if this gets any interest....

There is one event in Hannibal, MO that I know of. Not sure if this is associated with Tom Sawyer days or not. (I believe they have a mud volleyball tourney during TS)

I am sorry but I am going to be that guy. Didn't we JUST have a lengthy thread discussing the merits of messy kinksters setting up (or attending) an event (free or charity) in a public space amongst those who are not aware it's a kink and the slippery slope it presents?

While I missed the thread about public events I can see a possible downside if things get out of hand. My thought if there are 2 or 3 people and they are just letting off steam by having a little fun in the mud it would not draw too much attention. And if there was a team that just happened to get muddy after their game, I don't see where that causes undo attention. That being said, here are the tournaments I know about. I am truly sorry, but "Potential downside" isn't what I would describe going to an event (waving the UMD banner of all things as the OP suggested) and getting muddy or watching other people get muddy for arousal purposes who are unaware of your intentions. Consent is consent. Normies shouldn't get dragged into our kinks unless they agree to it. Also, let's not be coy here. Phones will be out while there, right?

If it was created and promoted as a fetish event (not just showing up to existing events) then no problem there. Not sure I would condone using UMD's name for it though

I mean you come here and set up several straw man arguments like "...waving the UMD banner" (you were the first person to mention anything about a banner), "...for arousal purposes..." (again, YOU are the only person on the whole thread to mention anything sexual), "...cell phones out, right?" Does everyone on the forum get the same retort? If they mention going to a bakery to look at pies, or strolling down the dessert isle at the local grocer, are you on top of that? ...visiting a public pool ...surely forbidden under your watch?

I guess your point is made and taken, but you might want to load up the white horse with consent forms and cell phone lock bags and head over the UMD group getting ready to meet in Las Vegas... in public, no less! ...at a pool! ...likely with civilians ...and kids around ...where someone might enjoy 'wet look'! (gasp!) Otherwise, I'm not really seeing your sudden 'concern' with some folks meeting up to play mud volleyball.
