Black women are SO unrepresented in our wet and messy community! I feel that they would add a very sexy and important missing component in our community. Can we see more in the future?
Well, I had a picture as an example, but it was not approved - let's try this one

Indeed she is! Maybe Miss T can get the ball rolling?
As someone who's dealt with this issue for years (LeTreya was the 4th SlapstickStuff model EVER for those who remember), I can give you some of the reasons, although this is just my personal experience and might not reflect other producers:
1) It is MUCH harder to "recruit" a Black model. This might just be because I'm white, but I tend to get a higher rejection rate overall. But again, I don't want to theorize. I did notice that a lot of Black models tended to work mostly (or exclusively) with Black photographers, and I never got a single one on board. All the Black models I've shot over the years were working with other white photogs before me, or in the case of SS154 Jasmine, shooting WITH mostly white models as well. Take from that what you will.
2) Black models don't sell as well overall. Again, this is solely based on my limited numbers, but aside from that one Candi "topless maid" clip, I've always been disappointed in sales results. I personally think Candi is one of the hottest models I've ever worked with, with a great personality to boot, so for her other clips to undersell was frustrating. I've also heard this from other producers, privately, so I don't think it's just me.
The caveat is that the guys who like Black models REALLY like Black models, and will support those clips 7 days a week. I even have a customer who willing to put up a LOT of money for a custom with a Black model I've been trying to recruit since 2021. She's gorgeous, and funny, and has an amazing body, and the money is really good.... But I still can't get her to commit.
I think there's quite a few reasons you don't see Black women (or men) in general doing WAM and this is coming from a black person that's been doing this for a while!!
....and it ain't just the obvious stuff people have mentioned on here.
Skin tone isn't something I actively consider - when I was first introduced to Friday, who was dressed in a spectacular red and white kimono, by a mutual friend, my first thought was simply "she's gorgous, it'd be awesome if she wanted to do WAM". And the rest of course is history, we became good friends, I took her to Vegas with me for UMD 20, and while schedules haven't aligned plus the pestilence getting in the way, am hoping to shoot with her again later this year.
Teena I knew originally from the alternative kink scene, again skin tone wasn't something I really paid any attention to, we also became friends, and have already arranged for her to shoot with Maude later in the summer, pestilence permitting.
I've done about 30 customs - mostly slime but a few with pies - and they've been all white girls except for one Asian girl. I've been trying for over a year to slime a Black girl but, like others have said, I can't get anyone to commit.
I think their hair is the big sticking point. You can fuck up a white girl's hair with slime and they just wash it a couple times but a Black girl's hair could get destroyed. Even in the pics in this thread you'll notice almost all the Black girls who have gotten messy have had straight hair. I'm dying to slime a Black girl with braids but I might just have to admit it's asking too much.

Would love to hear your thoughts on that, it's definitely something that deserves to be addressed.

OMG we just got a video in from a fan Indigo who has just come out publicly as a messy enthusiasts. We should totally get Veronika back in studio too!
Honey has the best natural hair in the game right now, and we are soo sad the Sophie moved out of town.
While we have Indigo around for the cook off though, we would love to see her get more roles and opportunites to shake up this genre.
this feels like another conversation that came up decades ago and, doesn't feel much progress on.
I think that a bit - there are assorted articles on the wider web about barriers black models in general face.
You can also extend this to search for barriers faced by black sex workers and also adult performers.
There's a whole lot on everything from pay inequality to marketing. Marketing being everything from using assorted stereotypes or the whole kinda 'exotic' objectification to simply not knowing how to market content with black performers.
In wider fetish - there's a lot of BAME women have done their own collectives around events or filming though this has never really caught on into splosh
As a fetish producer, I can tell you firmly that there are not many black fetish models, especially as a percentage of the fetish model community. I shoot with every available fetish model in NC and SC which is about 18 models. None are black because there are no black fetish models in those states.

I will do thanks.
Just want to make sure I word and explain things properly from my point of view and perspective.

Late to this (Yes, I'm still alive everyone, don't worry!) but my first two shoots for die4pie were with black models, Call Girl and Nova! Call Girl was found through a craigslist post, and then Nova was recommended by her. So I think part of it is getting that word of mouth out there to assist in recruiting models. But going off of your point, in terms of black women not wanting to model for WAM, one reason could actually be their hair! I remember trying to negotiate a shoot with CG and she initally said no because she had just had her hair done and didn't want to ruin it with pies and slime. She ended up opting to shoot with the exception that she wore a wig, but I remember she originally wanted to wear a shower cap which I told her no since that wouldn't help the video perform well.
Of course, my interaction is very limited, but that could be one factor that leads into it that we may not think about as often.

Thanks! And indeed, you're not wrong there, she always looks amazing.
Nothing confirmed yet but we are hoping to work together again before too long, just need to finalise some arrangements.
I remember when she first visited the Hall she asked if we needed her to do anything specific with her hair, That surprised me, not something anyone had asked before, but I've realised since from various news reports that it's because a lot of people seem to have issues with the way black people's hair naturally grows, so many are used to being told their natural hair isn't good enough - lots of reports of passive discrimination in schools for example. Needless to say my reply was "whatever you feel most comfortable with", and so we went all natural, and have done every shoot since. She's never been afraid to get her heir messy either, and we've done some spectacular shoots, with gunge, with food, and with mud.
