I REALLY want to do a metallic paint vid. How is it done??
Like how much paint would i need to do a shoulders up vid?
Do you mix it with something?
Is it SUPER expensive?
I see a lot of people putting it in their mouths! Is that safe!!!??

Mehron make purpose made metallic cosmetic powders made from finely ground metals. They can be mixed with their own medium (a dry finish for street or stage performers) or, in WAM (for a non-drying finish) it can be mixed with oil. This can either be cooking oil/olive oil or a body oil like Johnson's baby oil (it will NOT mix with water!) The powder is relatively expensive (but cheaper than it used to be) and the containers are tiny - but the colour is highly concentrated and goes a long way in a generous amount of oil. You won't need more than one container for what you want to do - but you will need plenty of oil.

Clean-up takes a little while but with a bit of scrubbing it washes off bodies and hair with soap and water in a hot shower.

Some people do put it in their mouths and eyes as some metallic fans have a thing for this. It won't harm with temporary, occasional exposure to these areas - but It's not good for you. At own risk.

A brush will get you an even coating. You can pour it and use your hands as well.
