Does anyone have any info on what became of Messy Mercedes. A very attractive girl, getting messy with proper food and mud in expensive, stylish outfits. Last saw photos of her about 15-20+ years ago. Any recent photos?

Yes, she is English. I still have a big crush on Mercedes and Messy Maddy. They made a video together that was playful and so messy. I feel Maddy truly loves getting messy.

I am blanking on the username at the moment, but I believe her photographer is still on the board. I would love to purchase the bride and bridesmaid in the mud set she did, but I am afraid it is lost to time...

And I could be completely talking out my ass here, but I think I remember at one point someone on here got the rights to Messy Mercedes stuff and started selling them again on here. I was hoping to get the wedding mud set then but it was never released. And here is the part that I could be completely misremembering but for some reason I think it was Chantelle (or someone else that is no longer welcome here) who was the one that acquired the rights.

Messymaddy is still going strong and I remember the shoot with Mercedes well because I filmed it! They were fabulous together and both LOVED getting messy

I'm not sure we ever got the full story, but the gist is that it turned out her partner had been logging in as her and so posting in her name for years. When this was made known he defended himself with a rather bizarre argument that Chantelle was so PC-illiterate that the arrangement whereby he posted as her was simply a practical one. Most users responded to that with "Huh?!" and soon after Chantelle's account pretty much went silent.

There may have been further updates I missed, but I don't think we ever got any more. Such as, what was really behind that odd story? Did all this mean Chantelle was in an unhealthy situation? Or was everything actually fine, aside from the weirdness of his/her/their posting activity?

If anyone can add more then please do, but all the above is to the best of my recollection.

I'm pretty sure that guy was known as either "Dirty Dids" or just "Dids", although I can't see either as a current user when I looked just now. He stayed in WAM after Mercedes left, photographing/filming with Chantelle as they were all based in Essex, although as far as I know he's long retired now too. He was certainly a fair bit older than Mercedes to start with - he once explained that he first met her when she took a ride in his taxi! - and I've a vague recollection Chantelle/Dids himself mentioned health problems a few years ago. Plus, we need to remember that Mercedes' heyday was the mid to late 2000s, ie nearly 20 years ago! Over that timescale, things change.

And just for info, although for many years it was true that Mercedes' last login was (literally) 2010, I've just looked and her most "recent" is now 2021. Strange how that happens, as I can think of at least two other well-known but long-retired models who also show relatively recent logins. They didn't post anything, or do anything public, so perhaps they just wanted to out of nostalgia? In short, although we may want to believe that "X retired five years ago, but that said she did log in only last month and so *maybe* she might come back..." I doubt that's what's really going on here. Unfortunately.

That's so good to hear. I read somewhere that she still enjoys and still gets head to toe messy in her personal life. My heart goes out to her. I hope she's living her best life.

I wondered for a bit if she was in a healthy situation. At the end of the day, I don't think Chantelle had any idea that this person was posting as her. No one could ever confirm that Chantelle knew about the posts.
