In the summer of 2016, Dunk Tank Dave of GungeTankBabes started offering a new "luxury" gunge to the market, and so of course we had to try it out. Maria MyPieRogative brought a sample with her when she came for her summer visit to the Hall, and so with Felicity's help she demonstrated and compared the new with the traditional.



Both girls dressed for the comparison in vertically striped shorts, dark blue for Maria, red for Felicity, brand new white t-shirts, and white sports socks with coloured banding to match their shorts.

Multiple comparisons were done, including pouring the different gunges on each other's arms, then down their shorts, into their t-shirts, all over the outside of their outfits, filling each other's socks, and finally full buckets poured over each other's heads.

Maria and Felicity really hit it off together and the entire scene is comedy from start to finish, it also does effectively demonstrate the differences between the two types of gunge and the various advantages of each. The new gunge is thicker and gloopier, the traditional is wetter and more flowing. There's a fair bit of discussion of the different feels in the full video, the one thing I do remember is that the traditional gunge holds the heat better. But I'll leave the girls to fill in more detail, Felicity of off duty now and on her day off tomorrow but she's back on duty on Saturday so if she has any time I'll see if she wants to give her opinion.

They remind me of Tweddle Dee and Tweddle Dumb pants from Alice in Wonderland, lol. I first was more interested in the upcoming clingy white tops, but the shorts distracted me.

Oh gawd!!!!!! That got so silly at the end! Im all wam high and losing my mind! Lmao!!!!! Felicity must think I'm insane!!

No a wam high is doing multiple shoots for days in end and becoming crazier and sillier with each session. I believe I was only on 20 something days in a row of being messy here. The number got to 51!! Haha

I know - I'm still not sure whether acquiring those was a stroke of genius or a touch of the Langstonedale madness that's said to sometime haunt these ancient chambers.


The tops filled nicely, and didn't stay white for very long once the gunges got to them! By the end you could clearly see Maria's swimsuit through hers.


LOL! So did we! This is the only time she did it on camera but there were quite a few moments of flat-out crazy-days that weekend - Maria came for a four day weekend and we shot continuously for three days, and she spent the fourth exploring the Hall and Home Farm, next time we really must take her up to the waterfalls at Ladylinn Fosse, she'll love those! But yeah, wam-high is definitely a thing. And truly spectacular it is too.


A charity shop in North London, some years back. Now, the question is, do we use them again in another shoot, eBay them, or lock them in a sealed chest and bury them somewhere on the long-abandoned North Road at midnight, never to see the light of day again and with a curse of endless madness on any who dare to disturb them?


Yes, well! Not at all, she thinks you're totally awesome and really wants to play in the gunge with you again - she was shooting scenes yesterday and sends you a very messy hug.

LOL! They've been lurking in the dungeon wardrobe for about seven years, this seemed the perfect opportunity to give them their fifteen minutes of fame (or thirty two minutes of gunge ).
