One of the earliest female pieings I ever saw was in the Australian soap opera 'Neighbours'. It involved a character called Phoebe Bright splatting her antagonist Trish Longley with a cheesecake. I remember there was full coverage and a great (if slightly hysterical reaction).

Seems like that particular Neighbours ep is lost for now, but I think I found a Home and Away Carly one, where she pies her double (it appears later in a fashion montage). There could have been another scene though as you say.

For the sake of accuracy, Carly was not pieing her double, but her twin sister. The storyline something along the line of Carly being the family rebel and sent out for fostering, but really she was the only sane one in the bunch.
There was a follow-up incident where Carly and her friend Bobbie pied the bully Alison Patterson (played by Kathryn Ridley) in a cafe for taking the mick and claiming that sort of thing never happened in real life, although I'm not sure there was nobody underage in the scene.
Thanks for the find. Love any type of soap opera food fights, lots of the UK stuff is great, and have even been following some channels with dramas in the Phillipines and Thailand. The only bummer is there are so many shows out there and it's hard to follow them all and see if wam scenes are common place and find them when they actually do happen. I'm thinking there are also a lot of international talk shows that have messy games that you might see on Fallon or the Noches show in Mexico.
I (sadly) spend a lot of time on youtube looking for this stuff with my VPN and Google translate. "Es Show" is a good one to keep an eye on lately as they have had about 5 or so cakings the last couple months, including a couple ladies.
I think that is what I remember, one was being filmed for a piece on tv, about her bid to become famous, but the montage on TV showed her looking silly, including a (that??) cake in the face, which is where the bully saw it and riddiculed her for it.
Just by Googling the title of the 'Neighbours' episode, I found the script. The moment in question is about ten lines from the bottom. Both the preceding and the following episodes are available in their entirety on The Daily Motion, but I suppose this one has been lost to the mists of time.
Great find! The Neighbours would surely turn up especially given the exact episode is narrowed down. It seems the Home and Away pieings happened fairly close together.
