I clearly missed something earlier in the year, or perhaps last year, but why has UMD done away with the "upcoming events" feed that used to be front and central on the home page?
I'm sure there is a good reason for this, but it feels like I miss hearing about the local "splunches" and other simple gatherings that used to bring us all together.
I'm glad I saw a post on fetlife plugging the Splat event next month, as I don't look at the meetups group very often. These days, i tend to concentrate on the WAM Games group, but really should give a few other areas a look now and then (like now)
It is still there. It is near the bottom footer under "Alerts". I think it changed its name and place a few times over the years. From "Wam Calendar", to "Events", and now "Alerts".
