The London Splunch is nearly upon us and although lots of people coming from the Fetlife event page it seems to have fallen off the radar on here so thought it would be good to get a list going of who is coming to the Splunch.
For those who didn't already know this was going to be the last London Splunch that Smiley was going to organise and Hayley and I are going to be taking over the reins of running the London Splunch. Its looking like Smiley might not be able to get to this one now so we have agreed to pick the reins for the November Splunch.
The London Splunch is for people from the wam community to meet other fellow wammers in person and put faces to the names. It is about having some food and drink, building trust and friendships and generally getting to know each other a little better in real life.
This is one of the meets i look forward to doing. It certainly has as different feel being on winters evening when London is in full Christmas shopping swing (the xmas lights in town are amazing). Nothing better than having some good food and drink in a nice warm pub with great company.

For those of you who usually pick up your Gunge supplies from us at the Splunch, we have some excellent very easy to mix Hydroxy Ethyl Cellulose Gunge at the moment which is proving extremely popular. We will be offering our usual Splunch rates of 10 for 24 litres / 3 bags. As you can tell Dave and Hayley have the Raines and have taken over the splunch. I wish them every success. They are very kind genuine people and are really well suited to the splunches. It's time for the next chapter to begin.
A few people have asked me why im not going to organize any more London events, it's simply due to my location, when the meets started i used to live in London, i recently moved another 30 miles north so now 90 miles away from London, nor do i drive, it's just a bit to far, i will be looking to start up Milton Keynes meet again and focus on that, but there will still be London Splunches in the future, the battern has been passed on to Dave and Hayley and I know they will do a great job. I will still be looking to attended future splunches and hope to try attend this one even if it is just for a quick hour. But I've had a couple of family commitments come up meaning I have not been able to commit to hosting this splunch.

I've been in contact with Dave and I've posted into the Sploshing UK group on Fetlife about the Splunch tomorrow. My ETA is around 6pm. I'm trying to convince a friend to come a long, you might know as Chastity from Saturation Hall. Fingers crossed.
Great to see so many of you last night, I wasn't sure what to expect as it hadn't really been pushed much on here until the last minute but was so pleased to have such a good turnout.

That sounds like a plan. Thinking we'll probably go with a Saturday in the summer for the next one as well as the usual Thursday in November. Maybe we should start to get all of the dates of the Splunches for 2016 in one thread so a UK tour can be organised....lol
