The late great Kenneth Mars taking a few pies to the face in What's Up Doc. After the death of the amazingly talented Peter Bogdanovich, Wamfan and I decided to watch the hilarious madcap comedy starring Barbara Streisand and Kenneth Mars playing a supporting role In this scene Barbara throws 2 pies and both hit Kenneth Mars in the face. The first one admittedly is not a good hit. The typical Hollywood one take that didn't connect as perfectly as needed. The second one is pretty good, even though it wasn't on screen for very long, but I loved seeing it anyways. Enjoy! The pie hits are at the 2:06 mark
I've wanted to see this film for a long time and with the death of Bogdanovich I was reminded I should watch so I'm glad to see I'm not the only one but wow, I had no idea there were pies in it that were a) thrown by Barbra and b) taken by Kenneth Mars!

Absolutely hilarious movie all around and some really great dialogue too. I think my favorite has always been:
"Oh, I'm not talking about romance, Howard." "Oh." "No, I'm talking about something more important than that. Something stronger. As the years go by romance fades and something else takes its place. Do you know what that is?" "Senility." "TRUST." "That's what I meant." "I think we'd better talk about this at some other time."

I'm so glad to remind you, I hope you get the chance to watch this one! It's really great, very funny, and a wonderful tribute to Frank Capra and his style of madcap cartoon shenanigans in this genre of film
