Does anyone remember Jake Hammond from the EC Gunge days? For those unaware, Jake would go on Twitter, and ask multiple women, mainly celebrities if they would gunge/pie themselves. When looking on YouTube for gunge videos, I spotted a video from TikTok. It appears he's taken to asking, and harassing random women there. This picture was from yesterday, but if you search his name, you'll find comments from as far back as 2020 on some videos.
I know Sian Welby said on Capital FM last year that she was harassed by him for about 10 years. and when she did finally get gunged on TV last year, she deliberately didn't wear jeans just to get the last laugh
Yes, whether it's the original or some guy who took up the name after it became well-known on the Dave Gorman thing, sigh, it's still persisting to this day.
He was harassing a (internet) friend of mine with the usual tiresome requests just recently - I reported them as spam. Hopefully one day he'll sod off permanently.
On one of his TV shows, I think on Dave channel but not sure what show, Dave Gorman did pieces on internet ephemera, and actually highlighted Hammond's obsessive tweets, so a whole big audience knows about them (or at least did then) - I remember seeing a TV actor only a few years ago reference it on Twitter when discussing weird things that can happen with some of her other friends in the profession. It was yet another unfortunate publicising of this world into the mainstream.
You'd think he'd realise that the more he pushes these comments on women, the less likely they are ever to do anything like that for any reason, but nope, he's got to be awful about it.

The Dave Gorman show was "modern life is goodish"
Jake is toxic for the community and the fetish in general

It's a long shot, but do you remember which episode it was? I wouldn't mind seeing what was said.

I'll put it politely, and you don't have have to answer if you don't want to put is he basically a simpleton that has issues that basically thinks they can do anything with there condition if you have met him or is he just a normal person just out of interest, but like I said don't have to answer if it is something you don't feel comfortable doing

put it this way he appears to have NO issues with his mental health, but he has been banned from the entire city in question, heart radio station were base in said city at one I and he basically turned up and wouldn't leave, but when we turned up he almost had brown trousers, let's just say my wife nearly kicked him in the head, I nearly kicked him elsewhere, the Heart radio team just cheered before we tied him to a carpark wall and called the police, it turned out he was wanted, he was banned from the city for his own safety and to protect multiple people in the area! He clearly knew exactly what he was doing and showed next to no remorse until my wife practically had her foot a inch in front of his face!
So if he has no mental health issues and is a nuisance to society why hasn't he been locked up already
The fact that he was arrested, charged, and STILL continues is what makes this situation worse. The one thing I want to know is, is Jake Hammond his real name?

This is based only in my limited experience and the anecdotes of people closer to the criminal justice system (a few friends who are cops, a few close to attorneys): many judges are so crowded with cases that they'll often do anything to keep the case load light, IE giving someone a suspended sentence that doesn't get appealed rather than a longer (and more deserving) sentence that will clog up the system as the defendant appeals over and over again. That, plus how difficult it is to really prove/do anything about stalking/harassment, make it hard to lock someone up long-term. Usually they just get fines or restraining orders or very short local prison sentences, and they move on to their next target.

Not sure how the legal system works in the UK (in my head, they all wear white wigs and robes and it's all very formal and proper ), but having dealt with a (serious) stalker before, over here, a lot of the measures that can be taken are more preventative than punitive if that makes sense.
I.e, great against someone who cares about paying fines and/or doesn't want to go to jail, or at the very least is of sound mind enough to recognize the potential consequences of their actions. Unfortunately though, many of the people who restraining orders are needed against do not fit that description.
From what you've described though it definitely sounds like a restraining order is appropriate, and if he then violates that, depending on the court, he'll get levied with fines, probation, and eventually jail. I know that sounds weak, and it's all a pain in the ass, but the wheels of justice grind slow as they say.
One bit of good news to end on; it varies quite a bit from state to state, but here in California they actually have an anti-stalking law, so the police don't have to wait until the person commits an actual crime before charging and prosecuting.

I would take any message from this account with massive spoonfuls of salt, they are known to make up outrageously outlandish stories on other forums, ranging from various celebrities getting messy and lies about their job to their internet being hacked, a mentally ill neighbour pretending to be them and, whilst having a WAM forum open on their PC whilst the police were at their house, that the police were going to take down the site for "bullying"

Just look at the case of Emily Maitlis. Been harassed and stalked by the same guy for over 30 years despite numerous restraining orders and jail sentences. It would appear that the law isn't very well equipped to deal with this kind of thing. The first time the police came round they pulled her husband to one side and told him he was the one they were worried about. Natural human reaction for the husband or boyfriend to go out and deck the guy and then your loved one is the one serving time.
He's practically admitting to openly harassing this user until she does what he wants. Dude is fucking ridiculous. These screenshots are from top separate videos of the same user.
