Many of you have been getting blind friend requests for accounts less than a day old with no information except links leading to sex spam sites. Thank you for reporting them, and please keep doing so if you encounter them. If you don't see anything done about them in a timely manner, please also PM myself or one of the other mods.

To report a user, click on their profile, and scroll all the way to the bottom. To the right of where you see their views and hearts, there should be a "report user" link.

I haven't seen anything else particularly suspicious come up since I last posted. Also, mods don't get the reports. So if you see someone particular, please let one of us know and MM is a one man WAM sweatshop.
Thanks PJ. And thanks to everyone else for the *hundreds* of flags that you send in once these people/bots shows up. Especially if I had to be away for a day or two, I couldn't do this without you all.
I've already got flood protection on inboxing, but I'm still tweaking that so that less gets through once a bot does get on. I also have mass content removal abilities, which I use all the time to clear messages they've sent, etc. But there's still a lot of work to do, especially in preventing the flood of friend requests and other things. Ultimately I want to allow community consensus automatically cause the appropriate action to happen... maybe next year.
