I'm like almost there, after years of deliberation I think I'm might actually start to sell wam videos, maybe.
One thing I'm unsure of is what do you think is the best price for amateur video content? Like it would star me as myself (cute) and be filmed by a tripod, and the videos would probably be 30 minutes long(?)
That would be awesome! Hmm...it greatly depends on things like video/audio quality as well, but also what you think its worth should factor into it. Personally, I'd say it could be anywhere between the $10-$20 dollar.
Maybe you could (and I promise, this is not an attempt at getting free content) post a short sample vid or even screenshots for potential feedback ahead of setting your price?

The videos I make right now are just filmed with my phone. The quality is okay and the sound is okay too. Definitely nothing professional. Probably 10$ could be a good starting point as I would but a reputation.

That sounds reasonable to me! I love amateur scenes, especially involving mud. I'm excited to see what comes of this.
I honestly think it depends on content. Often, Jane and I will price the video depending on what it includes (ie. if it is feet only, if she has an outfit, or if the scene contains explicit content). If you start out with a price and don't like it once you get more videos posted you could always lower the price of older videos if you decide they're lesser quality than any future content and did so choose. Hope this helps.
regardless of length i wouldn't be happy with a $12+ video filmed on a phone. I always find those videos to be a bit noisy, and a bit disappointing tbh. under $12....depends on the horn.
There's a long-standing tradition that adult content is $1 per minute, however I doubt you'd get many sales at $30 a video.
The line between "amateur" and "pro" is very blurred these days, so TBH I'd not worry too much about the status, what really matters is:
a) The content - the actual WAM activity. b) The quality of the filming.
The content is entirely up to you, but things to consider that affect saleability:
1. How messy do you plan to get? Total coverage from head to toe including face and full messy shampooing will command a higher price that "keeps head clean" or "only gets messy from the waist down". 2. Nudity level. If giving away more, charge more for it.
Then we come to filming quality. TBH these days there's no reason not to film on your phone if it can shoot high enough quality footage, but you'll want to be transferring that to a computer and using editing software to polish the scene, and the probably an external compressor like Handbrake to shrink the files down while maintaining video quality.
Even if using a phone, turn it sideways - say NO! to vertical video. We have two eyes side by side, not one above the other. There's a good reason computer sceens, cinema screens, and TVs, are wider then they are tall. Footage filmed in landscape mode will automatically look better than vertical mode, all for the simple trick of turning the phone through 90 degrees. Good looking content will sell better.
Don't fall into the trap of under-charging. Your time, your image, and your fetish, all have value. As long as the content is good and the filming quality is good, no reason you can't charge between $10 and $15 a scene.
The lazy and easy answer is as much as people are willing to pay. Honestly though, if it was me and I was trying to break in to the market as they say, I would look at the quality of my first video. I would have to be brutally honest with myself about it. I also would not go all in out of the gate so to say. I would make some smaller videos and charge maybe 5 bucks or so for around 5 to 10 minutes. Figure out your lighting and sound and editing etc. No nudity. Once you get everything more polished, I would go through the video stores here. Look at the prices for the length and coverage that match up then do an average of them all. You don't need to release 30 gig files for a 20 minute shoot. I would say about 500 megs for 15 to 20 minute videos or 1 gig for 30 to 35 minute videos. Close to 720p. If you want to offer 1080p for an additional cost that would work too. Also keep in mind that there is a LOT that can be done with editing software, for your time and what not the best option is to shoot the video as high quality as you can and go from there. There are all kinds of free tools like Handbrake that can auto reduce the quality from there if you want.

It HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY depends on the QUALITY of the content, camera on your phone, and LENGTH of the MESS. Some producers used to use a formula of a price per minute BUT when you'd download the clips they'd have like a 20 minute clip that has 5 minutes of mess and 15 minutes of the model just "looking sexy". For amateur stuff, $5-10 max unless you're doing an epic hour long scene or something. You're in a competitive environment that's flooded with "amateurs". So you have to keep that in mind and plan/price accordingly.
If you look at someone like Brattyshortcakes who has burst onto the scene this year, she started selling her initial videos at $5 or less. They were quite short (2 - 3 minutes) but interesting scenarios and went from clean to messy pretty quickly. As a result more people probably bought those scenes as at that price it felt like it was worth a go.
Fast forward to now and she is often wammer of the day and can charge closer to $10 for a scene (but it is still usually less). Her scenes are longer, and she makes them regularly. She is a great example of how someone has built their following.
For me the whole purpose of being here is to see messy women. As such a scene that takes 10 minutes to build up to the mess isn't for me - I personally prefer probably around 15 - 20 minutes in total whereby that allows a few minutes to build the tension before the mess begins.
There is a lot of competition out there, and many scenes are available for $10 or less. When I buy a scene for $15 or over I have to feel it is going to be worth it. I recently bought a Brooke Maddison scene for $20 and a Saturation Hall scene for $15, and both were worth every penny. But I will only buy a handful of those each year.
Let me close by wishing you the best of luck - this site relies upon new people and new content coming along to complement the more established producers so I look forward to seeing your work.
If you wanna make money? You take what you think your vids are worth and sell them for about 1/4 of that. Lol. The market is super saturated.but honestly? I wish we could all sell what we truly believe our content is worth: but that would get expensive for our customers. I wish you the best of luck and I can't wait to see!
3-5$ is almost instant buy even if I'm not sure about the content. 5-10$ I have to like the content/theme/clothing 10-30$ I have to really really like it and the quality has to be there. Thats at least what works for me. If it's ripping/destruction then obvs a little more to cover the costs. Anything with skirt/dress lining would fall into "really really like" category, just because it's such a niche.
