The New Truth or Consequences once had a segment where a guy with the most weird laugh was pulled from the audience, and for the rest of the show when something funny happened he had to do the laugh. If the audience laughed, he won a price but if they groaned (it was rigged, they always groaned) he would get messed.
The scene: guy was sitting on a chair. Model in a swimsuit came out, sat on his lap, and peeled a banana while he had to do the laugh. He loses, gets slimed--I think? Then he gets pied.
Maaaaan that one might have been my origin point. Have yet to find it again.
I remember a Truth or Consequences episode where four couples where picked out of the audience and separated. The men were placed in humiliating scenario (dunk tank, mud, etc) one guy was place in the stocks by a beautiful model with a bunch of pies. Then the wives were brought out one by one and asked which scenario was funnier? Every wife said the pie in the face. Then would walk over and watch the model hit the guy in the face with a pie and the wives all laughed. I realized that day women love to see a man humiliated with a pie in the face.
GTFO... I don't think I ever saw that one. I know a few TOC clips have surfaced over the years, too bad the episodes aren't in any catalogues anywhere!
Philippa also got extremely muddy circa 1997 on an OB film for a daytime programme on (I think) ITV, when she was covering offroad biking (probably quadbikes).

I remember this one too and just about briefly saw it!!!
Zoe Ball doing a ---- segment sounds dreamy, can't believe this one hasn't been found.
It's due mostly to the fact it wasn't a programme, it was on during one of the links between shows. And whilst a good amount of continuity has shown up online, it tends to be from the earlier-in-the-day primary age programme slots. So unless anyone happened to be recording everything this one afternoon, and finds it on a tape and realises a lot of people out there want to see it, the chances of it turning up are - whilst not impossible - fairly improbable.
