Just booked flights for me and Messmistress on our favorite, Southwest. They're relatively cheap this week; Got 2 tix out of Philly for less than $800. Thanks Potatoman for kicking me in the ass on the flights....

Part of me would like to go to this, but I'm pretty socially awkward when it comes to parties and gatherings, and I don't think I'm daring enough to travel on my own to some place I've never been (is that pathetic? It probably is)...Anyways, have fun everyone! You lucked out with the week too, now you don't have to be conflicted with whether or not you can go see Avengers: Infinity War because it comes out a week before this

But seriously, everyone I've know who's been super nervous about Splunches have ended up really happy they gathered the courage to go and none of them regret it. A LIFE LIVED WITH REGRET IS A LIFE HALF LIVED WAM FRIEND!

I've been to scifi/fantasy/cosplay conventions, and they melted my face. So, what if there was a gunge-centric convention?
I looked over the Adult Entertainment Expo, (that's a thing) and that gave me some ideas for convention events that weren't just "This person gets splattered!", which, if I were to organize a GungeCon, is the only thing I could think of.

Don't let THAT stop you. I'm socially awkward too. I'm no Alpha, fuck I'm not even a Beta, I'm Omega as you can get. The way I figured it was everything else found a way to work out, in the end it was only "me" stopping myself from going. So I just said fuck it and ordered the tickets. If I don't go now, then I will truly have proved to myself that I don't want myself to be happy.
Having anxiety isn't easy, I see shrinks, therapists and I'm on meds for it and depression. If this is the only thing keeping you back, I hope you can talk with someone, and power past it. It's your life, you only get one. Do something for YOU!
