And I'm also starting what I hope will be a new trend... ALL these scenes are also available in smaller-file versions in the Original Download Store: SlapstickStuff.Vidown.com
The resolution is reduced, but otherwise these are the same clips at the same HD quality... At about half the size. Perfect for those with slower computers or connections!
Picked some up this afternoon. I highly recommend them. Alex is hot and her energy and personality is infectious.
I appreciate the smaller file size option. I may have some of the worst download speeds in North America (I blame my old apartment building. Walls are probably covered in lead based paint and God only knows what). So I took advantage of the smaller file sizes and bought some Carrie and Marissa scenes. Honestly, I'm not sure why you wouldn't just hire Carrie for every scene. I'd watch that girl read the phone book.
Oh, I love Carrie too. I was a bit bummed that this new shoot didn't sell as well as her previous ones (which have all been top sellers)... But her scenes do well over time, so I'm patient. Plus she has some diehard fans... And some folks have talked about helping to "sponsor" her next shoot when it happens.
She also prefers to shoot with someone else, so some of it comes down to her partner as well. Although I thought Marissa was actually her best "counterpart" to date. Then again, I dig the short-haired girls.

Maybe I don't understand the technology quite properly, but this sounds like an oxymoron to me. How can they be in the same HD quality other than in resolution? Isn't the level HD quality mainly about resolution? I understand that there are a variety of resolutions that qualify as HD (the two common ones uses on TVs are 720p and 1080p, for example). Is that what you mean here -- reduced resolution, but still high enough to qualify as HD?
In any event, based on the stills and preview clips you've shown us so far, Alex seems like possibly one of your most fun-loving and gorgeous models yet.

Yep, technically it's not "the same resolution." But for layman's purposes, the clips aren't that different. I A/B'ed the final results using my HD monitor (it's a pretty nice Dell I snagged from my friend) running at 1080p... I previewed the 720p MP4 file at its normal size (1280 x 720), then the 480p "reduced file" MP4 blown up to fit in the same window... And there's a *slight* edge fuzziness that comes from expanding the picture, but you have to be looking for it. Depending on your monitor resolution, they could look identical.
More importantly, these clips look significantly better than the older clips in my store that were shot in "true" standard definition... Where the resolution was only 720 x 480 to begin with, so even the original uncompressed AVI files are only *so* sharp. (And the WMV files are obviously compressed.) These new clips are 848 x 480, but since they were originally shot in 1920 x 1080, they've simply been downgraded, and that makes a real improvement.
I think when I start releasing model compilation clips, a few will combine both SD & HD footage, and at that point it will be easy to make the comparison.
Whatever the resolution or file size or whatever - & i don't pretend to understand any of that one jot - scene 3 is outstanding. Downloaded this afternoon & VERY recommended!

Haha thanks! All you need to know is... The scenes are basically the same aside from the file size. Prices are identical too. So download the one that works for you! (Also, if you download an HD scene and it gives you issues, email me and I can just send you a free code for the smaller-sized clip instead. No harm no foul.)
