"Pies... shaving cream or cool whip?"

As I do at least a dozen or so pies per session, I find the cheaper sensitive skin shaving cream is better for me. That and I don't like any type of whipped cream.

Hah! Now that is a great point! Mine are so freaking cold, adds to the sensation, but I believe the reason no one said anything about bad coverage is bc cool whip pies are what brought me to wam a million moons ago and *tooting* my own horn-I have good coverage

The pie dress picture is a lovely shaving cream pie and the yellow shorts pic has some cool whip. I hope both went to your face and my bonus points are something similar
! I personally love shaving cream because of how much mess I can make in a really quick time at a low cost and clean up super easily. The obvious downsides are that you can't eat it and that it can sting or irritate your body, but since I don't take those pies on a super regular basis it isn't the biggest deal. I also love how many ways you can manipulate shaving cream with different colors and consistencies and just how it looks when it piles up on a face!
That being said, pies are pies and I will gladly take them all!

This is a great thread! I love the feedback that everyone has for what they use. For a long time I've been using shaving cream only (due to its great coverage and cost performance), but recently started trying out other kinds of cream fillings, and also with and without crust. I loved the results of using cool whip and heavy whipping cream, so it'll be fun to try out the other variations mentioned here.
Recently I also tried out real pies, which were yummy, also tried out non-dairy whipped topping which I think I whipped up too stiff, so might try it out again a bit softer next time. I've been leaning toward using edible creams and real pies these days, but they do take some time to clean up (especially with the not-so-good water pressure where I am), while cleanup of shaving cream is of course a breeze.

Cool whip or heavy cream for me is looking at videos / pictures
Wife hates smell from heavy cream so we switched to cool whip but she also hates taste if it lolz. Add cake icing for flavor and to thicken it up some but can't quite get the mixture to be thick enough to splatter and cover her vs being too runny or to hard and hurts / doesn't stick at all
It in my youth did enjoy shaving cream fights at the pool will one day got a little bit in my hole and was like NOPE !!! That shit burns to much!

I don't think there's a single shaving cream pie post-2019. All Cool Whip. I don't do bakery pies, too expensive and coverage is iffy.
