I have heard over the years about people having preferences in pies being either shaving cream or cool whip, but I am not really sure why! I'd love to hear the arguments for both sides! For me, I prefer cool whip most of the time, but some scenes would call for the consistency and visuals shaving cream give me! So for me it's mostly what I plan to do with the mess!
What are your thoughts? *bonus points if you guess which pie is filled with what below!*
I would say that for some videos is does require a shaving cream pie. But I mostly prefer the cool whip or whatever filling it has as seeing someone enjoy a pie to the face by eating it feels like a great encouragement to have another
Six or seven years ago, I had people on this forum straight up tell me, "Oh man! That girl is beautiful! And you hit her with 14 pies, right? But the last couple at the end were shaving cream? Sorry, no sale!"
I (jokingly?) offered to edit out the last couple minutes myself for one guy, just so his perfect scene wouldn't be "spoiled" by shaving cream at the end. Still no sale.
And that's the main difference: SC fans are usually OK with some Cool Whip mixed in, but the Cool Whip crowd generally HATES SC and considers it a deal-breaker. Plus the models absolutely hate it, and the new Barbasol formula burns the eyes, so I don't even bother anymore. It also looks super fake as camera/picture quality improves.
Real pies made with fresh heavy whipping cream with real fillings like custard and fruit are the only way to go with pies. Marie Callendar and real bakery cream pies are good too. Cool whip/shaving cream pies if used in a barrage can work but the best pie videos were ones where real baker style cream pies were used.
I prefer cool whip for pies to the face and smells and tastes so good, so in that sense it enhances the experience. As for making more pies and having better coverage shaving cream does that just much better and cost effective. I only use sensitive skin shaving cream.
It's shaving foam pies all the way as far as I'm concerned. Easy and cost effective to make and to clean up, unless you use a real pie crust which is my preference. I prefer the feel, aroma, and taste of the shaving foam to real cream or cool whip.
Simple difference, ones a splat (cool whip) and ones a whump (shaving foam).
Both great coverage, in their own way.
Shaving foam, yeah does dry on your skin, and can cause irritation. It also strings your eyes (even after leaving in the air). On the plus side, you can get great volume from shaving cream/foam and create big pies, that completely encase you (feels amazing). Clean up a bit easier as well.
Real pies/cool whip etc. Gives a good wholesome splat, causes a lot of mess, hence more clean up. Feels very satisfying, the texture of course is more foody.
Again, I agree with other comments, mix the two together, the hybrid pie is super.

It's cool whip or whipped cream for me 100%
I will not shame anyone for loving shaving cream pies but it's just a hard limit for me.
Shaving cream is much cheaper and easier to clean up. Always get the sensitive skin kind. It's better for making shaving cream mummies since you can get a can cheap and it goes a very long way.
But whipped cream looks, feels and tastes better.
I personally prefer whipped cream if money is no object, but shaving cream is great too.
I much prefer an edible mess, so cool whip will win for me every time. The taste and the smell really matter to me, as well as the humiliation of it being a "real" pie and not just something intended for play.

As a viewer, I'm team no SC and this explanation totally makes sense. There's just something less 'authentic' and 'devaluing' of the scene when SC is used. I know SC has it's fans, so not here to talk down, but as far as the negatives from this side of things it really is a full-stop 'awww man' deal breaking boner killer. The psychology of why is an interesting one...
As more of a visual wammer (my pleasure derives more from seeing others wam than doing it myself), I think I actually prefer the look shaving cream gives you when you plant the pie onto your face! I'm thinking of the extra spicy Milf scene that used to be up here where you're sitting on the floor. When you pied yourself in the face, it pretty much covered everything, and all that was visible was your mouth opening. That along with your very apparent arousal did a number on me. That video has been replayed and enjoyed many times since I bought it.
I think you basically stole my opinion lol. It definitely depends on the type of feel I want. Coolwhip obviously tastes better but is harder to get that overwhelming coverage from. At the same time we'll thawed coolwhip has this thick heavy squish in the face that drives me crazy horny. Both seeing it and and actually getting it.
Shaving cream is so easy to clean and make massive pies with. I also recently experimented with mixing it with water to make shaving cream slosh like clown julie used to. That is fucking amazing stuff. It splatters so hot and the visual of it sometimes just scratches an itch. I will always be a huge fan of splosh and Clown Julie. The giant cake face dunk where it was over flowing I have watched countless times.
Overall though coolwhip for the win. It's more embarrassing, tastes good and that heavy feeling on the face can't be beat. Except for slime. Slime wins over all!
For me I prefer squirty cream (we don't have cool whip over here ) as it allows for a good splatter in the recipients face, and bits can drip down onto the clothes and go on other surrounding areas. There is more mess and more satisfaction from this kind of pie (in my opinion anyway )
By contrast shaving foam sticks to the face more and so you don't get the drip or the splatter. A shaving foam pie would tend to be restricted to the face, but a cream pie can get the recipient a whole lot messier
The only positive of a shaving foam pie is the easiness of making it for a prank - no pie crust, tins etc. Around the house or with friends this could be fun, but if I wanted to see a model getting messed up its cream / cool whip all the way
The cool whip (pictured right) is certainly much better. It's more sensual, and in this case the taste is also taken into account. To make it for two, you can lick it off. Shaving cream stings the eyes, and when it gets in your mouth, it tastes awful.

I love both but you can eat cool whip
Accidentally tried both at once and that didn't end to good

Omg you nailed it!!! The cool whip only fans will die on that hill! LOL Oh man they hate it? It isn't so bad once you leave it out for awhile! But again, yes all about the visual you want to achieve
