She did half a dozen videos for the now-long-defunct Pie Fun Productions somewhere in the mid to late aughts, and was not only one of the loveliest WAM models ever, IMO, but also a decent comic actress.

Probably a lot of longtime UMDers never saw her before, Johnny. This producer never posted on the UMD. I think a couple of times other members posted about his store, but he largely flew under the radar of this forum. He did have a couple promo videos on YouTube that I'm sure were his most visible things, but they featured a different model than Laura.
piefunproductions is my all time favourite. I've got 2 Laura videos. The one where she is testing different kinds of pies and the Pied Collections one where she has to pay the penalty for the overdue video rental! I am kicking myself for not buying the download that you have just shown. Laura is looking quite sensational here. I have also got 2 Destiny downloads. Destiny is pretty nice too!! It is a tragedy that the site suddenly went off line without warning. If you look at my previous posts, there are a few destiny pictures. Well worth a look!!
I have three with Laura, sadly not the one shown here, and three others with different models.
The guy used pretty good pies and definitely tried hard, sort of a proto-SlapStickStuff approach, trying to go for a more wholesome less overtly sexual approach - something I appreciated.
Wish he was still around. He came off as a little nervous and awkward in his dealings with the models, parts he didn't edit out (mostly these were fairly raw video) but I think if he'd kept at it he would have only gotten better and better, in terms of the comedic timing, his dealing with the models, production values, editing, etc...
... although I say this but there are some producers who haven't really evolved much since they began, so you never know. For what they were: I was a fan, so even if he didn't improve, they were worthy parts of my video library.
He is my favorite former producer. Thankfully his vids have survived past hard drive problems. He used all real pies and his pie hits were and still are the some of the best in my collection. All real pies and consistent great after coverage because he had no problem rubbing/twisting the pies. He wasn't a wimp handling pies. Unfortunately The way I remember it, he was kind of chased away by people on here. The UMD could be pretty rough back in the day.

Proto-SlapstickStuff? Whatever. I'm waiting for Post-SlapstickStuff. (It's gonna be all human androids getting pied. Cream In The Shell.)
More seriously, the pics are solid. I do remember some promo videos that floated around.... As you mentioned, the guy had great pies and solid hits, but the interactions DID make you wanna mute the sound. I bet edited versions would've been great.
And no, I don't remember him ever having a store, or advertising on here.

Yeah, I had to roll my eyes at the "proto-SStuff reference" after it was posted, because Pie Fun Productions came along several years after Rich began making and selling his videos.

Boy, is my memory different. As I recall it, he was never even on this forum in any visible way... so how could he get chased away from it?

I want to clarify on the Proto-SlapStickStuff comment I'd made, I think it was taken the wrong way.
I remember talking with Rich in those old fucking Yahoo groups and one day he was like, "You know, I think I might try and make a video myself!", and I encouraged him (while thinking to myself, "hmm, yeah buddy whatever!"). So, I was aware Rich came first, but having ordered some of those original ones (including the very first SSS he shot) on DVDs, the first ones had great energy and the spark of greatness but he's made light years of progress since when he began (and, yes, light years are units of measuring distance, or as I've used them, in measuring the quality of WAM videos).
Pie Fun Productions, or whatever it was called, on some level had that same kind of energy, which was kind of what I meant to say when I said it, not that he predated Rich's stuff. While Rich has since "gone to the dark side" of WAM, at least in terms of frontal nudity, until then he'd been the only PG producer who has managed to stick around and I consider his work to be the standard bearer for PG-WAM. For that reason I'll probably always draw comparisons with anyone doing PG work to Rich.

But what about the Moomin's MostWam family of sites and stores? I'm not sure exactly when they started up, but I'm pretty sure they started no more than a year after Rich. From my point of view, MostWam and SlapstickStuff are the twin standard bearers of PG WAM.... (And now, of course, the twin Titans of clothed WAM have teamed up and you can view a lot of Rich's videos on the MostWam streaming site.)
Also a shout-out to WAM Photography. Wambert does some great looking fully clothed work, and has been doing it for I think the last 3 or 4 years (maybe more, it's hard to keep all the timelines straight.)
(Disclaimer: I'm not JUST into PG WAM myself, as some of my other tribute posts and comments on other threads will amply demonstrate. However, I love PG WAM just as much as the best of the more "adult-oriented" stuff. I honestly don't draw a big dividing line between them as some do. For what it's worth, in the survey I did here last year, out of about 300 respondents, 51% said they preferred either clothed or nude WAM but could at least sometimes enjoy the other type, while 21% said that they liked clothed and nude WAM equally. That means a total of only 28% said they iked clothed WAM exclusively or nude WAM exclusively. https://umd.net/forums/do-you-like-your-wam-clothed )

Haha, I knew what you meant, and I wasn't taking offense. Just making a little joke. "Dystopian SlapstickStuff" really needs to be its own genre.
I appreciate the kind words though. I still don't think I go the "dark side" except when Kylie comes around.... She's like the model equivalent of Gaffigan saying "shit" in his standup, I guess. There were "glimpses" of topless nudity in much earlier clips, but usually they were edited out or pixelated. That said, I do think early models like Marisa or Tracy or Melissa would've worn skimpier wardrobe if I shot them now. (Ginger is probably the catalyst for THAT trend, honestly.)
Also I always think of the Moonins as starting in wetlook... and I'm pretty sure they predate me there... But yes, they've been doing pies (and some slime) for years now. It's just not their primary focus. And yes, they were nice enough to reach out and ask to use some of my content on their streaming site as I brought an "element" they didn't have.... And I think that site is the best of both worlds for pie fans, especially if you like PG-rated content.
I assume that he must lurk here from time to time unless he's over the pie in the face fetish thing. I hope he reopens shop but its doubtful. He had a store on the mothership for less then a year. What I remember was that while he didn't interact much on here, he'd do the obligatory promo post. At which time a few people or 1 guy with mults used to criticize him for appearing on his own vids and ruining it. Then people(or 1 person) started shitting on his last couple of models, I remember someone remarking that the Destiney looked like Terrell Owens after that release he closed shop. I don't know for sure he was chased off or what his sales were but I assumed he didn't appreciate putting in the work posting on here then getting 4 or 6 responses 2 or 3 of which were negative or personally insulting. Still maybe 1 day he or doodmon will reemerge..........Or not
Here's the first of the six videos Laura did. Pretty epic!
She seemed to really enjoy herself on this one. A couple times she can't help but laugh in mid-skit, breaking character. And all the big miley shots at the very end of this series are from the Behind-the-Scenes stuff after the skit has ended and she is laughing quite a bit about the whole experience.
Man, I also miss this guy's work; he looked just like a friend I had in high school. I took a liking to him when he would email me for advice or help on setting up or executing his shoots. Loved the quality of the pies he used and he got some really great models. Suffice to say, I also can't remember him promoting or posting any of his work here, but I did manage to grab some of the Laura vids back when they were released; gotta check and see where they are! Thank you Pieromaniac for revisiting these awesome videos and sharing pics.
Don't know what happened with the third post of photos earlier today, but the images were once there and now are not. So here they are again. Please note the big smile on Laura's face in many of the final 15 or 16 pics. The skit was over at that point and she was laughing quite a bit at the slapstick baptism she'd just received. I don't think she found repeated applications of the pie barrage quite as amusing, but she continued to be a good sport throughout all of them, at least insofar as the BTS footage reveals.
(For admin's information: the earlier post with the pics doubled itself somehow. I went and deleted the second iteration of the posts, which also seems to have had the unintended effect of killing the pictures for the surviving version of the post. Seems like the two posts shared the same photos rather than each having their own set.)

What Johnny Yen said.
Strange, I have zero recollection of this model or producer. But it looks like great stuff, Piero. You're a most excellent Wam curator.
I forgot to mention this before, but at the start of her first pie video (the second series posted above), the producer asks Laura if she's ever been hit with a pie before, "Actually, I don't think so. I've pied people in the face before," she replies, smiling at the memory. "It's usually a bit more fun that way," she concludes with a laugh. Literally 15 seconds later she is wearing her first ever pie in the face.
PieFun -- I think that was the name of the producer-- was great. Just wanted to add that, in a different post, someone mourned the fact that Splosh vids are no longer available. Now we are mourning (I know I am) the unavailability of PieFun vids (PieJinx is another producer much mourned nowadays). The lesson, and I swear I am not brown-nosing producers, is that if you see a video and you like it, BUY IT. You never know when they might close-up shop. Man, I wish I purchased some of these PieFun videos when they were available....

Well, I follow the UMD pretty regularly, and in the case of PieFun, I don't remember seeing the videos advertised AT ALL. I only saw random clips on YouTube.
PieJinx (and Pies Next Door, which was the same thing?) was active on the UMD for a spell. A lot of folks expressed their appreciation for short, quick scenes and girl-next-door types... But I guess those folks didn't extend said appreciation to their wallets? ANYWAY. He and I used to talk ideas and how to improve sales. I really thought his stuff was great.
In the case of PieJinx, I'm not sure why he took down his clips initially, but I know he told me later he didn't want them resurrected or spread around. It might have been a situation with one of the girls. Anyway, just respect his wishes and don't do a similar multi-pic thread with his stuff. Thanks!
