I agree. Love real pies when they stick well. But nothing sticked and gave good crust the way Rich did shaving cream back in the day. I also love when the closeup cam is more top of shoulders to top of head instead of mid torso up. so you can really see the reax. To each his own, we all have different tastes. Great find Rich!

OK we JUST shot and I am rush-releasing this one out... This girl is 100% the real deal. I still think she's a figment of my imagination sometimes. (Yes, she also loves Archer, and comics, and the Evil Dead. )

Johnny, I think Moho and I are already talking custom, in which case that scene WILL be all real pies. But just to play devil's advocate... If we shoot a scene that starts off with about 7-8 real pies in a row, is that viable? I could even "fade it" early if that makes a difference. Rather than, hypothetically, a 14-minute scene with real pies, some SC thrown pies, and slime... It would be a 7-minute scene with all real pies. Thoughts?

You would love her, man. She definitely fits the mold of the models you use... I'm gonna try to do some more "pratfall" style gags in the future, even though that's not my forte. (I just don't have your space for shooting... or the willingness to set up those shots. HA!)

In the first scene alone, I had her attempt the "frustrated Curly" (AKA the bit where Curly keeps trying to throw the pie but gets clobbered over and over, until finally he just whacks himself instead). Not only did she nail it, but she pied herself with so much force she almost fell out of the shot! My kinda girl....

That pie pic you posted above looks amazing, Rich. This is gonna be a great seller for you I think. I know you're really good about trying to please as many of your fans as possible, and that shows when I look back through your catalog and see that each model has a pie-first scene with real pies, a pie-first scene with shaving cream, a slime-only scene, etc. So while I'm not at all worried about the likelihood of a slime-only scene surfacing in the near future (how can there NOT be with that face and hair?), I figured I'd show Homer some love and represent for the other slime lovers out there.

I also dig how involved you are with us consumers, and how well you've taken the criticism over the years, constructive or not. Some folks on here can be plain nasty, and it's sometimes easier for producers (who I'm sure are trying really hard to make things that people like) to shut down and revert to the old line, "I do this for myself, and if others like it that's great, but if they don't, they can go somewhere else." You've been very good about sifting through the vitriol and taking in the substance of the requests and then implementing the changes to please us demanding cheapskates, even if it really wasn't "your thing" (like slime).

So thanks for that. Can't wait to see the fun you guys had with this one.

Thank you sir! I feel like if there WAS a weakness with this first shoot, it might've been the slime. I know that scene probably isn't as hair-intensive as the slime fans will want.... She wound up doing a very cool "secret-agent-meets-Lara-Croft" look but no big hair. Don't worry, we'll correct that down the line I'm sure.....

This one does have some great slimings post-pies for each scene, though. And she was head-to-toe covered with slime by the end of that secret agent scene, for what it's worth.

Is this based on real life experience? I'm just curious, because I've had exactly the opposite reaction from women when trying to entice them into pie exchanges. In my experience, if a women is down for getting messy in any way, she almost always thinks using creamy, delicious dessert sounds like more fun than shaving cream. And the shaving cream vs. real pie debate came up on another thread today, where Rich wrote, "The increased quality of HD has skewed me more towards real pies lately, and the models really prefer that."

On the other hand, I know this preference isn't the case for ALL women, especially true wammers who like to get messy very regularly and in great quantity, where the greater affordability and easier cleanup of shaving cream really make a big difference. PieGirlKay, a huge shaving cream fan, springs immediately to mind.

That first scene is phenomenal. She's beautiful for sure, but the fantastic personality there is what's really amazing. The ideal balance of clearly having fun vs. taking the acting seriously.
I don't post a whole lot, so I try to make them count when I do; definitely worth it to recommend this outstanding model.

I don't want to say she literally "fell out of the sky"... but it was almost like that. I had to push a new model shoot out due to scheduling, and I had the entire October open and just thought, "I NEED to shoot something." Started randomly scanning profiles and hers was literally the first one I saw.
Model, actress, local. Just set up her profile and eager to work. Responded back to me in less than 2 hours (this NEVER happens BTW) and ended with, "And I LOVE the Three Stooges!!"

I'll be honest. I really thought someone had set up a fake profile just to mess with me. Turns out I found a unicorn... Who knew??

But yeah, I wrote that script knowing she could pull off the "faces" and such. The "Curly gag" was a bit of a longshot... Just to see how she would do... And she pulled THAT one off great, so who knows? I can definitely do more intensive scripts with her, but I really want to try the more "physical" gags where you need someone fearless, like Shelly. It's exciting though!

....simple solution to the real v. shaving cream debate: simply shoot the scenes separately (don't mix real with shaving cream in the same scene)....shaving cream fans tend to like it because the effect is consistent -- almost always the same ("guaranteed" ful coverage)...real pie fans know that there is always random element and that the pie might not hit perfectly, splat perfectly or produce the complete coverage...but it does provide variety in the hits, verses the same old samo...this you know, of course...carry on!
