We've managed to get 52 of my scenes removed in the last 4 weeks thanks to some good tip offs and help on here so thanks. It's now a weekly job for me to do a sweep of google etc to check. It's a pain but there's no way these cunts are stealing from me. We're surprised actually at how helpful the offending sites are being including helping us get a bit closer to the posters of the vids.
Sorry I haven't read this whole thread and I'm not huge into tech, but I think the problem is downloads. Don't allow people access to the file. Host it somewhere and let the people stream it. Worst case scenario someone films it or shares their password, both are inferior methods of distribution than just sending someone a file. I don't have all the answers, but we must do something.

Well, again, I'm not paying for any media I can't keep. This might solve the piracy problem in the narrowest sense, but hopefully at too steep a cost.
Alas, there are no easy technical solutions. Streaming video can be readily captured in good resolution with free software available on the Internet. Videos that will only play when connected to the Internet with a valid key can also be copied by free software.
So then it appears the only answer lies in morality. At the risk of sounding ridiculous and making this political, unfortunately this is a sign of our times, the people are hurting. I have a degree in economics and I can tell you firsthand the people are working longer hours for lower wages. When that happens entertainment purchases suffer. At the same time, the performers, models, producers, etc. feel the crunch too and feel it necessary to increase their work rate for fear of labour demand dying up (in essence striking the iron while it's hot). Sadly this industry is entertainment, but for many there is a level of addiction and/or entitlement. People want/need their fix of sexually fulfilling material according to Maslow's hierarchy of needs. If they can't justify the cost, they're going to do so at whatever cost. I don't think this is a unique problem to this industry, it is more a balance sheet of our current economy.
I just spent a good hour reading this entire thread and it's very interesting the points of views. Do you think WAM is entering a new era? Perhaps away from videos and more experiences? I think over the pond in the UK wam sessions seem to be coming very popular and a good way for producers to make money. In the US it's still scarce but some folks do it. I wonder if that would be the new market place for producers. It would be instant revenue from the customer before costs are assumed by the producer.
Slosh, to give you some perspective on the level of consumption of video content, I have 1369 subscribers on my YouTube channel and my videos have been viewed 1.2 million times since I started posting them back in February.
When you think about it, the sheer number of orgasms my channel has fueled is somewhat staggering. There is no way -- even remotely -- that need could be filled with live sessions.
At the end of the day, all that people are looking for is assistance in experiencing a fantasy. Videos are just a visual aid to help people imagine scenarios that they couldn't do alone. For those with more imaginative minds, they could be substituted with any number of other media forms. Personally, while it has fallen out of fashion, I have always enjoyed reading WAM erotica. It feels more real when you construct the visuals of a scene in your mind.
I'd be curious as to how many people fantasize without any sort of aid. I haven't done it in a long time, but I distinctly remember the specific scene I used to imagine regularly.

If you can't afford to purchase a video, you can't afford a session.

hahahahahahahha.
Wait.
HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA.
There is no actual privacy on the internet. Even TOR is no guarantee.
Some years ago I actually went to an internet cafe in London because I figured out where a guy was for an hour of each weekday and tapped on his shoulder. He stopped sharing videos...

It'll evolve like everything else, and porn is always ahead of the curve. Hell, porn is why internet video quality is so good.
Every media company in the world is looking for the answers and there's two schools of thought. Don't worry about it, make it as hard as possible.
Instant revenue is fine, but a video sells over and over. Someone may do a messy session for say $300... but that's it. $300 for that work and done.
Make a video, and it will sell and produce revenue for years.

Anyway, getting back on topic, I'd add a third to school of thought to the list noise posted and that's to offer people an alternative to piracy that's more convenient.
Once mostwam.tv has been running for long enough to have meaningful stats, it'd be interesting (for customers and producers) to hear something about how their new business model is working out.
Sometimes its actually quite easy to track people down on the net. I don't profess to Noise's skills but know it ca be done. From a simpler perspective its amazing how many people use the same user names on other sites. From that you can often get a valid email address or phone number or the holy grail of an address. One user mentioned recently had an eBay account, although not used since 2002. The area where they lived tied up between porn hub and eBay. Once you have an area and a name its not too hard to then whittle down to an address if its not already all over the web.
