We all have our references, and mine has always been the beautiful woman, well dressed, occasionally in a bikini but always non-nude and usually in a social situation getting nailed with a pie or pies.
In the last few years I was seeing the trend here toward more nude and harder core WAM and very little if any comedic set-up, and my favored gnere seemed to crop up less and less.
Well, I'm really hoping what's old is new again, and I've been heartened by MostWam's pie fight that just came out, the previous one it did with the Rev., and these restaurant and game show pie skits they've been doing so well. We still haven't seen Messy Glamour Girls, and hoping this turns out to have a lot of pie-first stuff with, well, glamorous and beautiful girls.
Messy Girl has shown they can do it with Amy and Penelope's pie convention and Amy's news reporting gigs and 2 Broke Girls parodys to name a few.
Also worth noting is the return of Pied Pinups with a tremendous job on that two-girl pie bakery skit.
One-man shops like SS and pie zone have had their moments with clothed pie-first stuff, and Anglefan's classic "Restaurant" skit is eerily similar to that first MostWam pie fight. Back in the day Robby andPFG and others made these types of scenes staples
Anyway...not sure how the community feels about it, but I'm hoping this becomes the next hot trend in WAM.
I have to be honest. I love nude wam. Now with that said, I totally agree with what you are saying. There seems to be void that has opened up and producers do seem to be trying to fill it. I also hope that this trend grows because it is a wonderful part of the kink.
With the OP on this, nude doesn't do it for me, like smartly dressed girls getting destroyed in a massive pie fight. The latest Moomins epic is my bag 100%
Yes I love seeing women go from gorgeous and smartly dressed to absolutely trashed.
So fully dressed at first does it for me. SOMETIMES staying dressed , but I also like when they end nude.
It's the clean to FILTHY that does it for me. Even if the girls is NOT a model, but looks like a REAL women. e.g. Mrs Bee, before she went so commercial.

I also like the first pie to be delivered to the face before tons of other slop; I like the social context, as in a sit-com or soap opera. If someone is hit by buckets of who-knows what before the pie hit, it's even harder to imagine a context where that could happen.
Nudity is fine, but models wearing clothes can _get_ nude as the shoot progresses.
I agree with the premise of the original posting that some kind of context to a pie-ing adds an extra frisson, whether the woman concerned is in a formal outfit (e.g. dressed as a secretary), in lingerie or in a bikini.
As part of the narrative dynamic, the throwing of more pies or increased intensity of gunging is best accompanied by the removal of clothes. Not necessarily complete nudity, but gradual removal of garments.
Restaurant sketches, game shows, or punishment scenarios -- all work well, especially if the models involved are given the opportunity to give expression to reactions of surprise, delight, or distress.
So more "pie-first stuff with, well, glamorous and beautiful girls" -- definitely yes
Oops has pretty much summed up my preference. I like the anarchic element, you start with a nice scene in a restaurant with several attractive girls, fully made up, and nicely dressed, always heels and stockings (sorry I hate tights, i know they are good for filling up but they are unbelievably unsexy in my opinion)
Anyhow, you thing "those girls are gorgeous, surely they're not going to get trashed with pies" and then an escalating pie battle starts, ending with every one of the girls totally plastered

???? "So commercial"? I'm not sure what this means? As in a sellout like when REM left I.R.S. records and signed with Warner Brothers? Hardly. But you know, I've heard this "disappointment" several times from fans, and I'd like to address it. Since I don't have my Tumblr blog any longer, I will do it here.
Gonna have to politely disagree - I sold some videos, yes but not many (maybe 25-30 titles were ever available at most?) Initially, most of those were filmed for ourselves- just the stuff that we like to do and decided to share with the community. I'd like to also remind everyone that almost everything we've ever posted on this site has been shared with the community FOR FREE. That is hardly commercial, in my opinion.
Selling videos came about because a.) people asked, b.) I was going through a period of unemployment at the time so I hoped to recoup my costs and c.) we enjoyed it. Not to be defensive, ha but there it is.
Anyway, what you describe is also my favorite type of WAM - transitioning from clean and glamorous (and fully dressed) to completely trashed and maybe, but not always nude. Having said that, I received enormous pressure to "up the ante" so to speak (requests for more nudity and more risque work.). So, maybe there is/was not a big enough audience - at least not for me - of people actually willing to pay for the content that we prefer - and that's why there aren't as many people producing in this style? I dunno.
But lordy, I never stood a chance at "getting it right". NEVER. It took me a long time to finally accept that fact. Either I was too much of a regular woman - or not. I was either too much of an amateur or not enough of one. Use shaving cream or real cream, didn't matter - someone was always annoyed or pissed off and often did not even guess the substance correctly. Wore too many clothes or too few. Too curvy, and if I slimmed down then my core fans would complain. I could go on forever, but there are other producers, like Rich from SlapstickStuff who have detailed this struggle of trying to please customers and fans way better than me and with much more humor.
It's a moot point these days as the only videos of mine that are available for sale are the handful currently on MG's site that were shot with them back in 2015. I haven't had a download store of my own for some time now, and no plans to open one again. Def not commercial anymore. I gave up. Ya'll "won".
And for the record, I am a real, regular woman AND a model. As in, I actually worked elsewhere as a model outside of this world. One can be both. Models are people, too.
Overall, I'm proud of my contributions to the community, commercial and otherwise. I view myself as a one woman amateur show, which in itself is a huge challenge due to the preference for multigirl scenes, (which I completely get and understand). I tried to bring something artistic to my photos and my videos whenever possible. I hope that I succeeded in that, but if not that is ok - I am still pleased with what I accomplished.
I'm operating on the assumption that you are/were a fan of mine and that your comment was coming from a place of love. Your views gave me the opportunity to address some of my critics "as a whole" so please don't take my remarks as being aimed at you personally.
Repeating myself but I am a fan of smartly dressed women getting pied. The nicer they look at the beginning the better. Seeing fancy clothing destroyed is nice. Seeing that beautiful model take the destroyed clothes off either before or after a clean up is the icing on the cake.
Starting nude just does not do it for me. But I realize there are probably as many opinions on this subject as there are WAM fans. Some people find running into a naked female tantalizing while I find it more tantalizing to see a female take their clothing off. Something more erotic to me in seeing a slow reveal than just seeing everything at once. Same with a pie model.
mrangry -- I'm so glad that we agree, especially on the preference for stockings on the attractive models rather than tights. In terms of items to fill, surely that's what knickers or panties are for?
That anarchic element is the key: it's always good if there's an element of suspense before the girl gets the pie in her face then another .. and another so on in the escalating battle until she is completely trashed.
Mrs Bee -- I don't know anything about your putative commercial trajectory, but that photo album on your profile entitled Bandage Corset & Stockings captures for me perfectly the excitement of WAM.

^^^This. I don't know anything about a putative commercial trajectory, either, frankly. I've always thought of myself as the opposite but I guess not! And there is nothing wrong with being/going commercial, it's just that people have used it against me for some reason and I think it's inaccurate. Anyway, I don't want to hijack this thread any further than I already have. It is very interesting to hear everyone's thoughts.
And thank you - that scene is one of my all time photo sets that we did!

Oh, I've stopped trying years ago. But at least I've "had my moments" doing clothed WAM. (By my count, I'm up to nearly 1000 of those "moments." Whew! No wonder the handful of clips with boobs outsell my clothed clips 3-to-1.... )
And Mrs. Bee, Lifes Rich Pageant is an amazing R.E.M. album but Automatic For The People is even better, so go on and SELL OUT as much as you want!!! (Just don't sing "Shiny Happy People.")
No disrespect intended Rich you know I love your stuff, I simply meant that you are going up against bigger operations and scoring against them. Also, I should have noted that with "Slapstick " in your productions name... by definition you are putting the pies in a context. My personal favorite: the Chega Mais parody. But I could also cite the "ER" parody, Bre as Wonder Woman, toshia as Mean Betty Jean and many many others!
I like seeing well-dressed women getting hit with pies. I usually stop the video, or don't save, the pictures of them naked. "Well-dressed" usually means sexily dressed with cleavage but not always and doesn't have to only be dresses.
Bikinis are fine but not as much of a turn on for me as dresses, shorts, tight tops ect. (I bought SS212 #1 dress before #2 bikini, play it more often.)
Mrs Bee I never thought your videos were getting "too commercial" and your red dress and gloves is still a favorite. But again I usually stop it when the dress comes off.
I also prefer that the first pie or pie be thrown. The "surprise" hit. Rev Slymford's 9-girl pie fight hit of Emily was huge. Picture attached. I really appreciated that in Slapstick Stuff's Mean Jean nearly all the pies were thrown and wasn't it Nikki not Toshia?
I also like seeing two women heaving pies at each other from a short distance.

I think this reply helps move our discussion forward, by explaining how in this context "well-dressed" means sexily dressed with cleavage in dresses, shorts, tight tops etc. Not only does this clothing allow a model to display her attributes but the material itself helps show the texture of the pie or gunge. As it stains or soaks it makes the mess all the more visible than on naked skin.
The nod in the direction of a formal element in the attire (and hot lingerie beneath a short skirt manages to be both formal and erotic at the same time) underscores the disturbing, anarchic aspect of WAM: and a tit-for-tat throwing of pies combines the descent into chaos of a complete trashing with the formal element of reciprocity (you threw a pie, so you must receive one).
As far as two women heaving pies at each other from a short distance is concerned, this situation does allow for harder and more accurate pie-throwing, but also for each woman to look the other other directly in the eye as the pie-fight unfolds, adding a certain intensity to the scenario. That said, that throw across the room captured in the photo attached to the message is pure pie-throwing brilliance!
I love pie in the face scenes with women in smart clothes!
A good script can be a special ingredient to a pie scene...
But what make the scene turns me on is the quality of clothing, combined to the beauty of the model and her reaction.
I like to see the model before being pied smiling, with good makeup, red lipstick in the lips, behaving herself vain and snob... and, suddenly, takes a pie on all over her face, and, after the pie, reacts scared, disgusted and desperate(almost crying... not really crying).
The kinds of clothes I like:
- An elegant uniform (for a secretary, not only shirt and skirt, but also a smart jacket); - A business suit for an executive woman. Had you ever seen those photos with asian models using business suits from aliexpress site? It would be a dream to see a girl with one of those suits getting pied. Combined with a women's pouch, the model will get very glamorous, making a very nice pie scene; - In an airport scene: an elegant classic air hostess uniform(which seems real), and a customer, wearing a long coat or blazer with a scarf; - In a party: If it's a music show in a local bar, can be a leather jacket, with dress and belt. If it's an elegant cocktail party, it can be a long prom dress.
Using something in the neck also gives me a special taste: scarves, necklace, choker, stole...
I'm glad to see the attention that clothed WAM is conquesting, recently. There's market for this, and surely a good quality job will sell a lot. Hope this continues in the future!
fredsout said: No disrespect intended Rich you know I love your stuff, I simply meant that you are going up against bigger operations and scoring against them.
LOL.... Yes I'm Clemson and they're Alabama.....
But seriously, there are no "big" operations anymore. Not really. The days of Lenny's 8-girl pie shoots are done. With the HUGE exception of the Moonins (MostWAM) of course.
But the others you mention: MessyGirl is just 2 people. PiedPinups is 1 person. Pretty sure Robby is (was?) 1 person. I could expand but I've chosen to keep things more small-scale. Big "productions" are a ton of work, don't really appeal to me as much, and are crazy expensive in time and money. They're basically HUGE swings that don't always pay off. I prefer to take my shots with skits that are more unique but aren't necessarily more expensive or time-consuming. (Except in post.)
But yeah, that MostWAM 8-girl (10-girl?) pie fight looks insane, and just THINKING about the amount of work exhausts me....

Shiny Happy People is on Out of Time, anyway, so we're probably safe.
SStuff said:And Mrs. Bee, Lifes Rich Pageant is an amazing R.E.M. album but Automatic For The People is even better, so go on and SELL OUT as much as you want!!! (Just don't sing "Shiny Happy People.")
Yeah, but Murmur and Reckoning, their first two albums, are much better than either of those two albums you mention, and I think the bulk of their best work was done for IRS not Warner Brothers. Also, remember that right after the admittedly good Automatic album came... Monster. Yuck!
Not to indicate in any way that I think Mrs. Bee ever "sold out" or "went commercial" myself. Based on all the totally free, completely classy, and utterly sexy photo content she's provided on the UMD for more than 15 years running now, I'd say she's probably the best thing that ever happened to this forum. And unlike REM, she's only improved with age, impossibly getting more fabulous and sexy as time has gone on! See photos below for some truly stunning evidence; unless I am mistaken they are all from the last couple years.
(A lot of these pics look lopped off on the right-hand side below, at least as they display on my monitor. That's something about the way the UMD forum displays them. If you click on individual pics to see them full-size, you'll be able to see the "missing" part on the right.)
Murmur and Reckoning are both fantastic, but I still rep Lifes as the best IRS album.
And Automatic remains my favorite REM album ever. Controversial choice maybe. It hit at the right time in my life. Also, Nightswimming.
Non-hot take: The IRS run is better overall than the WB run. Hot take: The WB run has more great albums than you remember: Automatic, but also Green, Out Of Time (aside from Shiny), New Adventures, and I'll rep the super-underrated Up too.
And Mrs. Bee never went commercial but if WB gave her that $100 million contract, all of us would understand if she took it!

I'm confused. In what way has Mrs. Bee gone "so commercial"?
Her pictures (and vids) are the same basic style & feeling that she's been doing for over 15 years.
And to echo another poster, *somehow* Mrs Bee has found the fountain of youth! She looks just as beautiful and sexy as she did 15 years ago (albeit less nervous! ) .

If 'commercial' is indeed conflated with 'popularity'. Mrs Bee has attained a greater celebrity in the last few years or so as a much loved figure. Her resilient beauty - and more importantly - her continuing personal contribution has earned her a 'legendary' status amongst fans and members of the forum. More power to her.
I can attest to the fact is little money in this business other than for the very high volume multiple-model 'studio' producer. And as Bee suggests - one's greatest moments are often given away for free. These fruits of generosity are remembered of the individual in this genre and rewarded mostly in kind.

Anyway, the poster did apologise.
Thanks for the support, guys. As Richard said, the poster did apologize here (and privately). I didn't intend to make this thread into a thing about me so let's be fair to the OP and get his thread back on track.
For the record, I don't fault REM for going commercial but I've always preferred their early music they recorded for I.R.S.
Well, with that all settled now, back to 'Old Skool' pies!
I definitely agree with Fredsout. I guess it's a frame of reference many of us of a particular age will always have - that of the sexiness of slapstick comedy. Simplicity itself. Almost wholesome...
My question is, though: Is it a generation thing? Are there any 'old Skool' pie fans under 40? Under 30?
