Rachel Stevens on Dick and Dom. Although the idea of her storming out is kind of hot in of itself. But it would have been amazing if they'd gotten her messy.
I'd add the game show Celebrity Juice, which always feels like it may deliver something but very rarely has. Most recently they had a game with a great set-up, involving food coming down a tube and onto the face of the celebrity below but they ruined it for me with giant goggles and plastic coats. I can think of other games that could have been great but fell flat too.
Some of the UK soap operas have attempted messy scenes that weren't what they could've been as well. A couple of wet scenes have been a lot better.
Christine McIntyre was in a bunch of Three Stooges shorts-- in fact, she probably appeared in more Stooges video shorts than any other actress. Never took a pie, or any other mess for that matter. A lot of pretty women get messed up by Moe and the boys but she was not one of them. Sad! https://haphazardstuff.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Christine-McIntyre-Three-Stooges-actress.jpg

Though I've had no luck tracking down the short in question, TV Tropes says she was once "smacked in the face with a loaded shaving brush."
"Pushing Daisies" being set in a pie shop but resisting the obvious.
Also the film & musical "Waitress."
There was a "Waitress Pie Challenge," though. Some charity thing where various members of the cast (female and male) got pied on social media with mixed results.
I remenber one missed oportunity in the Spanish version of Master chef celebrities. There were an interview to Almudena Cid ( a beautiful Spanish exrhythmic gymnastics an one of the contestant of the show) in front a huge pyramide of eggs; they asked she who would you crack an egg on his head, she answer that she egged himself and if she could she jump on the pyramid of eggs behind her, but unfortunately nothing of this happens

"British Baking Show" might be referring to the Great British Bake Off (or the thousands of rip offs that spawned from its success) and nah, nee wam there just double entendres and nail biting finishes.
Pie in the Sky unfortunately is a police drama so doubt there's any half decent wam there. Haven't watched every episode but dont recall owt major ever occurred despite the shows namesake.

For what it's worth, Rachel Stevens did get pied on some Saturday morning show, I think it was Ministry of Mayhem. Although you couldn't see this on the show, she was apparently very upset afterwards because they hadn't bothered to use kosher whipped cream for the pie they'd planted in her pretty face.
In The Avengers, Diana Rigg's Emma Peel defeats a villainous lady with a threatening pie but never needs to throw it.
There's an episode of the Avengers where a pie fight breaks out, and stunning Emma Peel is involved in it. However, while she's almost always dressed in tight, sexy, fashionable outfits, here she's in a full suit of armor, nullifying any effect of the pie that she is hit with.
The original Sabrina the Witch show with Mellissa Joan Hart A spell goes wonky and they find themselves in a Silent movie... The end of it they 4 women enter a room filled with pies and start throwing and.....the punchline is they have bad aim despite a ton of pies being thrown only one pie even hits the guy and even that barely
Yeah, you'd think that MTTW would have ample opportunity for a messy revenge on the cheerleader. Yet I think the only mess in the thing was in the film - and naturally a woman was not on the receiving end...
There is this scene in Le gendarme en balade (1970) where Louis de Funes gets so bored that he goes to mess his car so he can wash it afterwards. He messes himself as well, and is going to splash paint on Claude Gensac, but she runs away. He chases after her, but is eventually stopped and she remains clean.

I remember this! You really would have thought they'd have gone the obvious route there. There was a lot of scope for mess in that show and it didn't deliver any.
Really could have done with some mess in the remake too, for Kiernan Shipka related reasons...

That's a whole thread in its own right - "Messy Moments that DID happen but we'll never see because the camera operator was wandering off on a bewildering excursion to some uneventful part of the room"
Several times on Noel's House Party (broadcast live and, as ever, in a rush) the camera would pan away from the gunging about 0.3 seconds into the drop as tracking Edmonds jogging up the stairs to the next item was obviously what 20 million people had really tuned in to see!
I can see why that never happened though....it would never fit the more mature theme. Wam alongside Canibalism and blood ritual.....probably nope...Best they could have done is a Carrie like moment

I wish I could remember the name of the show...Early 90's, Loni Anderson was the guest star. She was a snooty lady, and she's at a restaurant I think, and someone trips and falls into her with a cake. It misses her face, and hits below, all over her chest. It might have been a guest spot on Empty nest, but I'm not sure.
There was an episode of Charlie's Angels that had something to do with the Keystone Kops. I don't remember a thing about it except that it was a wasted opportunity.

Yeah, I saw previews for that back when it aired. Jacklyn Smith and Kate Jackson were both dressed as Keystone Cops and they were at some kind of county fair-type thing, so I thought it had potential, but nothing.

I actually saw that episode when it originally aired and just a few weeks ago. It was all about an antique car rally. Too much gun play and not enough bikini action.
Torta92 said: Now that's a thought Similarly, two shows that I'm surprised never had a messy scene are Modern Family and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
There were actually a couple of messy scenes on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Buffy gets slimed by a monster in one (I think it's supposed to be its blood) and in one episode there are a couple of scenes where she puts mud on her face (it's similar to a mud facial but a bit messier than that).
I thought there was at least one in Modern Family too but I might be getting confused with another similar comedy series.
actually there was one with modern family i was aware with regarding a fire extinguisher. its at about 11:30
SStuff said: This might intrigue anyone who watched "Mank," the recent David Fincher film (now on Netflix, pretty great!) that features Amanda Seyfried playing Marion Davies, the real-life starlet who was married to William Randolph Hearst, the inspiration for Orson Welles' classic "Citizen Kane."
In the 1928 silent movie "Show People," Davies was scripted to take a pie in the face after being tricked into appearing in a slapstick comedy film. But Hearst objected, fearing for her "dignity." The script was rewritten, and in the finished movie, the lead actor takes the pie instead, while Davies gets sprayed with a seltzer bottle.
To the best of my knowledge, Davies never did get pied on camera despite her work in numerous silent films... undoubtably due to her husband's interference.
You are right, though she did do slapstick water scenes in 10 of her films and was always doing comedy wet scenes, but she never did any messy, mud or pie scenes according to my records. This begs the question.....if Hearst felt that doing a pie scene was undignified, why was he OK with Marion doing at least a dozen comedy wetlook scenes in 10 of her films -- is wetlook slapstick more digiified than pie slapstick !!! - -- I don't think so.
Perhaps throwing pies at a girl struck an ominous chord and was too close to home for him , because one of Hearst's long time friends was Charlie Chaplin who was frequently at Hearst parties and on the Hearst yacht many times. It was a dirty secret that Chaplin had a fetish for pie sex and basically invented the Pie Casting Couch, where he would ask aspiring actresses to strip naked and then he would plaster them in cream pies. Chaplin used pies as a torture device to abuse women, so perhaps his friend Hearst knew of Chaplin's abusive activities with pies and therefore viewed pies as form of sexual abuse, and not as comedy.
If Hearst was so concerned about Marion's dignity then how come he bragged at his private parties and other Hollywood celebs about his private sex games where it was widely known that Hearst had a pet name for Marion's vagina that he called "Rosebud" . He must have bragged about it at parties because that soon leaked out and the name "Rosebud" made Marion the butt of jokes at parties, and then Orson Welles famously used the name "Rosebud" in the finale scene to Citizen Kane as malicious way to make fun of Hearst and Davies.

They must have offended her that day, because exactly one week later she appeared on the MOM show with Holly and took a pie to the face on that show !

The short in question was not a Three Stooges short. It was a Hugh Herbert comedy short made in 1946 called "Get Along Little Zombie". A blogger who reviewed this film says that Christine was hit in the face with so much shaving foam it had the same effect as a cream pie.
Unfortunately I do not have this film, and it was on Youtube but it seems to have been taken down. Let us know when you find it. FYI Christine appeared in several other Hugh Herbert shorts as well.
I saw the mention of SNl and thought of another series of sketches They have done 3 count them 3 sketches that I know of revolving around the KCAs ....one with Sarah Michelle Gellar, one with Ariana Grande and a third with Natalia Portman....and as people would expcted not one sliming

Here it is-- the "messy" scene starts around 1:15. The blogger was, sadly, WRONG. Not the same effect as a cream pie. Not even close. https://youtu.be/Dsf-X_4B0WA
