Hi everyone

A few of you have noticed things changing at Girls Get Gunged and I wanted to post an update here to explain.

After a few years of sporadic updates and limited opportunity to shoot new material, we have made the decision that now is the right time to wrap things up. It's been a blast and we're very proud of the material that we produced, but it's become increasingly unlikely that we'll produce more in the future.

As some people have spotted, our Vidown stores and website have now gone and our social media is winding up too. The UMD stores are open for the time being, to make sure that we honour some of the longer streaming memberships that have been purchased.

There will be a point in the next month or 2, when we wrap up and the current intention is to take down our store here as well, but we'll make sure to give plenty of notice of an exact date.

At that point, our material will be taken down, but we'll still be here as fans of WAM. It doesn't mean that we're happy for our material to be shared, in fact we'll actively try and stop that happening where we can and appreciate the community's support in this (you've always been wonderful in this regard).

In the meantime, we've simplified our streaming options - leaving a single price that gives access to all our videos here for $25/month. If you are on the old Big One subscription, make sure to cancel and get on this new one for savings.

There's also buy 2 get 1 free on our videos and buy 4 get 1 free on our photos and we'll try and throw in a few snap deals.

There are always a few requests for missing scenes or pictures and we promise to do our best to track these down and put them up for a brief period before we go.

Thanks for everything over the years - it's been a huge amount of hard work and a lot of fun and there are a great new generation of models and producers out there and we'll be looking forward to enjoying their work.

The sheer quality of your work, shooting style, the amazingly gorgeous models you somehow managed to convince to get messy and the mess you used was literally perfect for me.

I'm going to miss your content mate, thank you for all you did.

Sorry to see you go, you've been a feature here forever.

Why take the stores down though? Shutting down the streaming makes sense if no further updates are coming, but the most effective way to fight piracy is to make sure things stay available legally, and there's no hosting fee on UMD, so why not just leave things up for new people to buy in the future? Especially if you're still going to be participating here, so people will still see your site links.

Ah this is a big shame, so many amazing scenes over the years.

Thanks for all the stuff you've made, and sorry no more is going to exist, will leave a big gap.

It seems wam has moved into two types. 1. Clothed. 2. Nude with sexual content.

What you've managed to do is provide nude without the spread legs, vibrator type stuff. It's a very small niche market and I'll really miss your contributions towards it.

It's an interesting point and something we've discussed. You are right about the piracy question and we really hope that people respect that this material will remain in the ownership of the producer.

The owner of the site has made the decision that he wants to withdraw the work from sale for personal reasons. He feels that this is the way to draw a line under things and also the most fair thing for the models who appeared in the scenes he funded.

This doesn't require an explanation. It's their content, it belongs to them.

Exactly this - for the avoidance of any doubt, the ownership of any material from retired or disappeared producers and models remains with them, it does not pass on to the 'community' or into the public domain.

The owner may decide to make it available again, or maybe sell the rights to another producer for distribution.

It may be that certain models or performers no longer wish for their clips to be available for sale or just hosted on the internet, or it may be that releases or agreements have limitations of some kind.

Whatever the situation, sharing clips or selling those that don't belong to you is never okay

I have noticed quite a few other producers adopting the Mucky Bucket or similar mixed gross out mess as part of their work - if that is my legacy, I can be very happy with that!

Since you first came on the scene you've been one of my very favourite producers - the fun vibes, gorgeous still images and stunning models have been a winning combination, and I'm very sorry to see you go. You definitely leave a legacy of superbly produced content which I'm sure has influenced the upcoming generation of producers. Thank you for everything!

Sad to see you go. I think there is uncertainity in lots of things at present. With current pandemic ongoing we will probably never be able to meet up for gunge sessions with others. I too have been considering selling all my camera gear as I have lost out on everything that I did.

You guys were the first WAM content I ever saw and bought.

Tbh I had no idea WAM even existed before I followed up on some curiosity and googled gunge. A few pages in I stumbled on Glamour Gunge as it was called at the time. Before WAM I mainly watching lesbian/ solo girl content. The first thing I saw was the initial Sasha and Tina vid and it set everything in motion. It was super hot, I found out that my curiosity for gunge was because I had a WAM fetish. I stepped over from just streaming Porn to buying it and I have never looked back.

Still years later I go to many of your videos and love how they still stand up. Always been reasonably priced, with great production values and mess. And best of all they managed to bring in fresh faces and models who were mainstream. Seeing Gemma Massey on in a lads mag at the time after seeing her gunged was such a thrill.

Thankyou for all the pleasure and enjoyment over the years. You will be missed and hopefully an example to aspiring content makers. I certainly wish you the best in your future endeavors

You produced some excellent work over the years and will be greatly missed. I will cherish the content that I do already own. Sad to see you go but I also completely understand when it is time to move on from something. Always forward!

I had a feeling this was coming...

I think you know I've been one of your biggest fans. Everything including your earliest work still looks incredible and I still get incredibly giddy that material like this exists. There is still that sense of amazement and wonder when I open my folder and I see your many videos and photosets there. It's just an incredible body of work and it gives me that "stars have aligned" feeling that I also get with my favourite music and films. The combination of girls, mess, concept, style, your curatorial influence (a big factor - it was always apparent how passionate you were for quality control and maintaining your high standards).

As others have also remarked, to have models of such calibre and willing to get extremely messy...but also genuinely enjoying themselves...deserves special recognition. Your team on the "frontline" at shoots deserve a huge shout out for achieving this - including the hairy arm that could sometimes be seen pouring the mess!

I wholly respect your decision to call it a day and I can only express how grateful I am to you and your team for sharing your work and journey with us. Thank you for all the pleasure and enjoyment you have given us over the years will still do so for many more to come.

If I may ask a couple of questions:

- What is your all-time favourite GlamourGunge/Girls Get Gunged scene?
- I look forward to any more unreleased content you manage to dig up, but would you also consider a big "picture dump" consisting of outtakes, behind the scenes photos, prep and aftermath etc? I personally would love to see more of this "candid" side of your world and goings-on around the shoots.

With the store going down, I think you need to seriously consider rebranding some of your stills as art for the Tate Modern.

Not that it matters, but I've always wondered what the purpose of changing the name from Glamour Gunge?

Sorry to hear you're leaving, your work has always been inspirational and some of the best work on UMD.

Back when I was more shy about this kink, after explaining it to girls, I would point them to the Slapstick Stuff and Glamour Gunge / Girls Get Gunged sites. The colors, model quality girls, and lighthearted nature converted many a fling into a willing participant in a wild messy session.

For that alone, I shall be grateful to you and your team. Making something "strange" or "weird" look absolutely beautiful on screen made my job a lot easier.

This is so true, everything on GlamourGunge/GirlsGetgunged always looked absolutely beautiful - but struggling to imagine you as ever being shy ArchNemesis!
