I'm deeply saddened to learn of Lenny's passing. Lenny Sorge and his work was an inspiration to me. His 2001 series videos were among the first wam videos I ordered, and was always blown away by the sheer volume of mess, coverage, and quality of talent. His models were top notch. Some of the sexiest erotic-wam material I've ever seen. In May 2003 I had the privilege of attending and participating in one of Lenny's massive FL shoots. He took us all out for dinner on his dime. I got to witness first hand just how much hard work, planning, preparation, setup, camera work, and cleanup goes into these. Although I became part of the cleanup crew for two days of filming, it was a lot of fun! Lenny gave pretty basic instructions and let the models do their own thing once the pies started flying. Lenny was always cordial with me and I remember him personally thanking me for helping out with the crew and for commissioning a custom; Very chill and laid back guy. There were a LOT of models on site and, while it can get very hectic, Lenny and his crew handled everything smoothly and efficiently. He's gonna be missed but his work lives on. King of WAM, Lenny was. May he rest peacefully.

In 1999 I spoke with Lenny on the phone. He said he was going to start shooting his own pie videos and that we could make them exactly like we wanted. At the time I was aware of Wamtec, MessyFun, and Splosh, which were great, but Lenny said he was going to film scenes like he wanted to film them, and that he would take custom requests so that people could get exactly what floated their boat. He invited me down to Florida to assist with the shoot, but I had just started a new job and had just met my future wife, so I declined. God I wish I had gone to Florida that year! Anyways, I had commissioned several customs during those early Florida shoots, and enjoyed Lenny's work immensely. Never did make it to Florida for a shoot. Maybe in my next life.

When I had the honor & privilege to see Lenny Sorge direct actual pie shoots,
I could not help but think of him as the Cecille B DeMille of WAM film-making.

I believe something similar happened with Bill Shipton. The advice before his funeral was that WAM wasn't to be mentioned as his family were unaware, although in the event someone close to him did reference it in their eulogy.

However, the point was later proved anyway as all his films on "Splosh" were taken down, which I think was at his family's request as they didn't want anything to do with them.

This isn't quite right, his parents were the only family he had left and they were in their 90's - they were absolutely lovely and very proud of him and were fully aware of naughty magazine work he'd done. His best friend, who was also taking care of Bills ailing parents did mention his messy work also right in front of them in his eulogy. Many of us told Bills parents that he had a positive impact on our lives and they enjoyed hearing the stories.

Bill did not leave a will and as such, sorting things out was hideously complicated and again fell to his best friend. The simplest route was to just cut everything off. His parents were old, tired and not in need of money and therefore not remotely interested in whatever money may be offered to drag out the process of sorting Bill's estate and selling things on. They understandably left it to the lawyers to arrange and it was the lawyers who were so strict about taking everything down. Long story short his parents were not disapproving, quite the opposite. Just worn out, ailing and grieving.

So yeah when people say 'it was the wishes of his family' they don't mean because they thought it was disgusting and wanted nothing to do with it, just that the whole thing was already too exhausting and painful without dragging it out and 200 pieces of paper to sign

A few weeks after he goes, the last of all the girls he has locked in his cellar will starve to death. But because of the "special diet" they've been fed, at that point all of them will reanimate as living corpses, smash their way out of the cellar, and start feasting on the living. However in a departure from standard behaviour, before biting, these living dead girls will pie their victims first, then feast on them. This is how the zombie piepocalypse begins, and how we'll know, as civilisation collapses to an army of piezombies, that Regis has indeed died. A fitting tribute, I think?

It makes me think that I've been hanging here aside Lenny for over 20 years and never really took time to chat or exchange with him.. makes me regret some of that time. Hoping I can be more active with the next Meets that are organised here.

On the flip side.. will be looking forward to comemorate Regis passing with Free Mud Wrestling, but I promise I won't look at Lisa's boobs because that would feel very inapropriate..

Ah, just remembered.... The last time I talked to Lenny, he was trying to find a way to watch those new PoR clips that get blocked in the U.S.

I told him they were mostly terrible, but shot him a few I'd downloaded anyway. Good to know he was still digging the simple pleasures right until the end.

I'd like to think he's already lining up deceased hotties in heaven for 32-hour pie shoots. "Hey Marilyn Monroe! I have 250 buttercreams with your name on them! Let's go!!"

Knowing Lenny, his idea of heaven would to be to meet Lady Godiva and pie her on horseback, because that would involve the 2 things he enjoyed the most out of life.

Hopefully, I won't be the last one to post an 'in memorium' (I don't deserve to be)...Shortly after finishing by first wam video (Tabitha, 1998!), I had a phone conversation with Lenny (and I forget how we connected/got each other's phone numbers, possibly through H. C.)...but he was very complimentary of my vid (and asked if Tabitha was available to do shoots, of course!) and asked me a lot of questions (like what kind of girls I liked, blonds? I told him I had no preference other than they had to be pretty. We both laughed in agreement)...I told him that no way was trying to compete with him or Rob (how could I possibly do that?)...and he was all cool with it anyway (never was there any sense that he resented me, in fact, the opposite, he encouraged me!)...and, he gave me some tips on how best to promote my video, and I know, based on the way he talked, that he later passed along a good reference for me to his people and associates in the wam community; those early purchases and positive recommendations/reviews really helped sell the video (and it's had some ups and down, and misfires, as many of you know).

Like many, I was really surprised that he had bothered to reach out to little ol' me...only later did I learn how huge is presence was in the wam/world.

It was Lenny that was my first big customer shooting clips for, that gave us the traction we needed to get involved in the custom world. After he commissioned a custom I was able to think "wow I get to do this?!

My condolences to Lenny's family and friends.

I never got to speak one on one with Lenny, only in the forums a bit. I know he was something of a WAM/sploshing 'grandfather' around here, like Mark, Rob, Bill, Phil, etc. (not in age mind you, but in the golden age of production).

I knew Lenny was going through some health issues, I never really found out what, and he was never keen to talk about it. I can only hope he went peacefully and surrounded by those he loved and that loved him.

The only other thing I can add here is that we are ALL mortal. We all get sick, we all struggle. The first noble truth of Buddhism is "Life is suffering". Pursuing our hopes and dreams, sharing our struggles with others, these are the things that give us meaning, purpose, and as a side effect; happiness.

As cheesy as it sounds, don't wait until tomorrow to tell someone you love them; you may not have the opportunity later. I've learned this from having too many close calls.

Rest well Lenny Sorge, I hope you are now free of pain, and at peace.

Just a thought, wonder if we could have an annual Lenny pie fest, just lots of people and tons of pies in Lenny honor? I loved his videos, him and Neil from piefightgirls certainly had a huge impact on my life

Wow... Lenny was truly one of the greats. What a loss to the world of wam. His and Rob's videos were amongst my first indicators that I was not the only person in the world with my fetish. RIP.
