How do you feel about forgetting your swimwear? It's personally one of my favorite ways to experience wetlook. It's fun to do it on purpose and then having to find a "solution" but I also really like it when I genuinely forget to pack my bikini and then have to swim in underwear in public without a change of clothes. This was also sort of how I started getting my clothes wet: spontaneous clothed swimming with friends because we didn't have swimwear with us.
It's not a problem for me if I don't have a swimsuit. Every time, when the occasion arises, on hot summer days I take a fully clothed bath. Thus, when I pass a lake or an artesian well, I can't resist and enter the water dressed. I always liked to take a bath dressed, it is a real pleasure to see how my wet clothes shine on me. In conclusion, for me, the clothes I'm wearing are my swimsuit.

Rockin' those tight wet jeans!
I totally agree, the shine you get, especially on dark blue and black jeans is AMAZING!
Thanks to everyone for the great answers! Unfortunately there won't be any pictures of me.
I like your visit to the hotel. I always find it nice when I have to think about what I can get wet, what needs to stay dry and what the consequences of my wet adventures are.
It is true that it is particularly interesting when friends, who normally do not get wet with clothes, do not have bathing suits with them. Will she go in with underwear? Will he get in with all clothes? I know very well how transparent my tops become when they are wet, but non-wetlook friends often don't know that exactly. It's always fun to see how they react.
Wife and I used to regularly forget our swimwear when we went out and swim fully clothed or in our underwear. Not so much opportunity now we have young family.
In a similar way it's great to "forget" your change of clothes. I fondly remember that time I was at a birthday party of a friend and we had planned a water fight. Everybody brought either swimwear, a change of clothes or both. I claimed to have a change of clothes but I didn't. My favorite moment was when the water fight was over and everybody was getting changed and I walked up to my bag and pretended to look for my dry clothes I knew weren't there. I loved standing there dripping and sheepishly saying "Oh no where are my clothes! Did.. did i forget them?". I was a bit disappointed when my friend offered me a dry PJ top and pants after I "discovered" I had nothing dry with me. Refusing the dry clothes would have been a bit suspicious, right? Especially since we did want to watch a movie at her place afterwards and I didn't want to drip on her carpet. At least she didn't give me any dry underthings...
Thank you WetCouple90 for you pictures! Yes! These show exactly what i love about the scenario! The ones with the wet bra under the dry shirt do look a lot like when I had on my friends PJs!
I really wouldn't Forget to bring a swim suit but just show up in my clothes saying I'm not into swimming. Or on occasion show up at a dunk tank and say I don't have anything else to wear but if you need somebody to sit, I'll do it.
Personally I have done it once in Turkey on holiday. I wish I had the nerve to do it more often but here in Aberdeen it's the North Sea off our coast and it's F*CKING FREEZING!!!
Nice thread! I have been doing it since I was a child, have not stopped since! I've tripped, fell and have been pushed into many, many pools; never wear a swimsuit to a beach; been kicked out of my share of hotel/motel pools and hot tubs; and only own two bathing suits, both of which are decades old. Not much use for them!
I've loved getting wet in clothes all my life. I have a niece who does as well; we often dare each other to "fall" into a pool whenever we're traveling. She has a slip fetish, so we often are swimming in motel pools in our slips, much to the laughter of anyone around. I've probably been in dozens of hotel pools in everything from jeans and sweatshirts to lacy see thru slips. A great way to have fun!
My gal and I do this often although we usually bring our other sets of clothes such as what you see in my pics and her with shorts and tanks, or she'll borrow one of my shirts.
Sometimes we go places wearing things we don't swim in yet end up near something, like business wear, yeah those are not our thing for water. Hence why we bring the other stuff tucked in the trunk. There was one time she forgot her shoes and had high heel boots instead when we went to the lake, super sexy but swimming became a bit dangerous for her in those as they became exhaustive and difficult, so unless you're staying shallow, high heel boots are not advisable.
Does anyone have experience with "forgetting" your swimwear when going to public swimming pools or especially indoor pools? I'd love to somehow get away with swimming in clothes or underwear at a public indoor pool somehow!

I've done that once ere in the UK. I turned up at the pool with my then-girlfriend but had forgotten my swim gear, so went in wearing the black shorts I was wearing at the time. They were fine, and nobody noticed on the way in.
I think that EVERYBODY noticed on the way out though, as the clinging, thin material left nothing to the imagination!
A quick towel dry of the shorts before I left meant I was wearing damp but not dripping clothes for an hour or so later.

sometime there is no need to pretend. Just last night i went out to a pool at a hotel with jeans and t-shirt on. Just removed my shoes and jumped in. Sometimes acting weird about it might just bring on more attention.
being honest though it shouldn't matter really. Your clothes get washed the same way your swimwear does in reality. and some swimsuits are just as clingy as normal clothes.
If there are no signs stating proper swim attire then they can't say much haha
I remember plenty of time got invited to a party or barbaque and was told to bring my baiting suit,so when I'm told that then I now there's a pool there so I forget my baited suit at home and go wearing my jeans and tshirt and when everyone starts going in the pool they ask me to come in and I tell them I forgot my bathing suit and they sometimes just say so what come in as you are well no hazitation there so I jump in fully clothed,or sometimes th8ngs start getting out of control and people just start throwing or pushing people in and I always make sure I'm standing close by the edge of the pool and always wound up in so much fun

i always hoped that at the parties i went to that people would just start jumping in . only once did that actually happen, just after a wedding too.

Yes this is so true. If you just do it people won't even really notice. If you act a bit suspicious or hesitate then people start noticing more.
The '90s were very hot early summer days. As a child, I liked to get wet clothes and get in the water dressed. Many times, after leaving high school, I would walk through the park with a lake and a public bath. Most of the time I was dressed in jeans and a T-shirt, sometimes I wore a blue work robe for practical work. Before entering the water, I looked to see if other people were also dressed in the water, especially in the public bath. Usually young people went into the water in jeans, T-shirts, shorts. The girls wore jeans, T-shirts, shorts, jeans skirts, a dress... If I saw other people in the water dressed, I would immediately enter the pool dressed in water. Most of the time I bathed in jeans and a T-shirt, but sometimes I went into the water with my work robe. It was very nice!

I love it when people try to convince me to get wet in my clothes! I then like to pretend that I don't want to or that I'm worried about not having anything to change into afterwards and I'll say stuff like "No i can't my clothes will take ages to dry!" "No way, I'd have to walk home in wet clothes" "I don't know if you noticed but I'm wearing a white top so..." Of course I'll eventually "give in" and get everything soaked! Getting thrown in is fun too!
its always fun just before you get into the water. especially with people trying to get you in. That rising excitement just makes it better. I remember trying to dare myself to jump in full clothed ( i knew i would in the end) but it was fun feeling like you had to at one point
A few years ago I was in Austin, TX visiting a friend. Both of us are into getting our riding gear wet. One afternoon we went south of Austin to go for a river float on tubes. I was a little hesitant about going in with everything on but ended up using the excuse that we'd left our swimsuits back at his place and it was a long drive to go get 'em so in we went... boots and all. We actually got applauded by the people on the bank and when we got to the other end, one girl told me it was soo cool that we'd done that. I can't wait to get back there and do it again!
