I originally signed up to UMD with a WAM-themed profile name starting with the word gunge. (I won't say what it was, as the name has been re-used by someone else). Then I went away for a while and when I came to re-register I couldn't think of a WAM-related profile name that wasn't already taken. So I decided to choose a profile name that has nothing to do with WAM at all. Falkor is a character in a movie that I like...it's as simple as that
This profile name goes back many years, back when there wasn't much WAM available and I had very little experience. Duncan Hines makes cake mix which was (and still is) a favorite substance. By luck, the initials DH were also the same as for the alias I usually used at the time.
I lurked on UMD for a decade before deciding to finally make a profile. Staying anonymous is big for me, I'm also a big wrestling fan. There's a a famous wrestling storyline that involved a Team of two bad guys who had an anonymous "third man" waiting in the wings (who was later revealed to be Hulk Hogan) anyway, I decided that I would be the anonymous "third man" of UMD

and here was I always assuming it was taken from the classic Carol Reed film .
Greeting Card is just a writing pseudonym that I started using online, originally in a few places, but it quickly became strictly my WAM identity. The name doesn't mean anything, but comes from my time in university. I was taking a linguistics class and grew obsessed - for awhile - with phonaesthetics, which is basically the study of the sound of words. I had a bunch of these that I used as usernames, passwords, etc, cause I liked the sound of them and it was unique.
Mine is quite simple i do model trains and i was sat in the in my layout room when I set the account up so i added my year i was born to make it easy to rember
Mine is not very clever. I love dry hair! My weird take on wet look is that I like to see everything soaked except a woman's hair. It's even better if there are multiple women in the scene and only one of them keeps her hair dry. I just love the juxtaposition of the shiny, soggy, slick wetness of everything and then the soft bouncy dryness of hair knowing that at any moment it could be ruined but that it hasn't been. It's very unusual and hard to find content to satisfy so I always felt ashamed of it, but being here I learned to embrace what makes me unique. Hopefully I find some like-minded people and maybe it'll take off like wam did many years ago!

Bash at the Beach '96! Possibly the best heel turn of all time!
I wanted my wife and I to create new accounts together, and she picked my name. She calls me Slime King in the bedroom and it turns me on like no other. I hope calling her Messtique has the same effect.
Well "Nostalgic Erotica" to me defines all the things that captured our imagination as kids in the day. Whether is be a messy or muddy catfight from Dynasty, the infamous Mud wrestling scene from "For all the Marbles", Stripes or glorious wetlook scene out of your favorite movie or tv show. It's an umbrella term used to embrace when TV was good TV and PC was occasionally tossed to the wayside
I'm relatively late to this post, but "93" signals by birth year (as private of a person as a am, this shouldn't be enough for anyone to dox me haha :bahaha. "WAM" is self-explanatory. The "Optimist" part indicates that I'm optimistic I'll someday have an intimate female partner who (keep in mind this is a not a dealbreaker or the main thing I'd be looking for) who is either into WAM or open to trying it and who enjoys it. I don't get turned on at the prospect of me self-wamming (that could change), nor with doing it with a complete stranger, but the notion of getting muddy with an intimate female partner, or covered in chocolate or paint, is exhilarating to me. So I'm "optimistic" that I'll have that experience one day. Whenever I've had the experience, if I'm still around here, it'll prompt a username change.
Well, I guess I'm a literalist. My username is my name. Just like why my signature is "50 Characters" because when creating the profile, as I recall it said something to the effect of "Use 50 characters for your signature" so that's what I did.
