...not to mention, she barely wiped, it was a yellow pie (they appear to be the gooiest; and yes, my life is empty enough that I have actually studied this show sufficiently to notice this) and there was an extended aftermath. A full house for the discerning pie enthusiast!
Not really. They just played a slightly longer game. The guys still pied faces only, except for one. And Sabrina's "no pie" rule is still in effect. She got to go against a midget (they had to pie the midget), and then she had a midget take her spot in the next round. The blue haired lady's pie was good. And holy crap a model actually had two punishments, first time that has happened in months. A decent show considering the very low standards
Next week will suck, as there is photographic evidence of it. The girls probably complained about too much mess this week.
My only prayer for this show is a cast overhaul. A cast that agrees to a fair game and who aren't pretending to act stupid every week.

I respectfully disagree, good Sir. To my mind, that was the best live TV pieing I've ever seen. I do really like that girl, though...I never expected that she would actually play the game, let alone get clobbered. I'm grateful to the God of Obscure Fetishes, tonight, I have to say. But until that doyen of mainstream WAM Rich validates my opinion (or otherwise) I'll not be fully satisfied. I await with baited breath...

Fair enough. It was a pretty good pie. Lots of pies for the ladies tonight, but my disappointment was most were crappy careful pies.
Take a week off from this show, you won't want to watch next week.
Here's my unofficial and initial tally and recap of Chega Mais (Episode September 6).
The men received 7 pies. By my count 4 were aggressive and complete (face and hair). Again, the women feel little constraint not to humiliate.
The women received 5 (or maybe 6) pies. 4 were delivered delicately. One was a potential great pie-ing but only got half her face and part of her hair. One pie was delivered to the female guest. She's a YouTube rapper or something. This was the big hit. The idiot twin finally delivered and totally messed her up BIG TIME with a yellow pie.
The dude who last week was arguing with the crying blonde and screaming "destroy her" had an opportunity to destroy a different woman with a pie...and went light. This guy is consistently the worst pier of the bunch.
The show enlisted two male dwarfs for a (failed) comic element.
Both teams cheated and moved closer and closer to the buzzer. One of the hot brunettes who I highlighted last week as cheating was again the most blatant. Her hand was inches from the buzzer while the question was being asked and of course she rang in first.
All in all it wasn't a total disaster.
The women still out-pied the men.
The men refuse to pie the women as aggressively as the women pie them.
The episode was saved by the idiot twin who hit a grand slam in the bottom of the 9th inning. Who'd of guessed?
My dedication to reporting on this show is such that I actually jotted down notes while watching. Start making fun of me now.
My notes show that I labeled four of the female pie-ings as "weak".
"Weak" means the pie just gently touches her face and the pier makes every effort to avoid her hair. Half the pie is left on the plate.
One guy tried to wrap a pie around a woman's head and unfortunately failed. We've seen this technique executed perfectly on this show before (usually on the men) totally sealing the persons head in pie. In this case however the pie only got half her face and some of her hair. Still good but not great. At least he was trying.
Only the idiot twin delivered a five-star pie-ing. Please note that this pie was delivered to the female guest, not one of the regular models.
The primary claim of the conspiracy theory is that one or more of the regular weekly girls have an agreement not be pied ... or not to be pied in a completely humiliating fashion. Considering that the only five-star pie-ing was of a guest and not a regular cast member the theory still holds.
The conspiracy theory also claims that the women will no longer be out-pied by wide margins nor will there be episodes where nearly every woman is completely humiliated and covered in pie and the men are not. The conspiracy theory again holds as the men have not out-pied the women for at least seven episodes.
There were only two female balloonings and two male balloonings this week. It seemed as though all the contestants were running to the pie table and nothing was going to stop them. This was different from past episodes and temporarily challenges a portion of the conspiracy theory.
It appeared that there were several newer female models in the cast this week (or girls who aren't on that often). Perhaps, the girl(s) who cried and complained about getting messy are being given some time off to think about their future employment?
Lastly, if my numbers are accurate in the past seven episodes (including today) 44 men have been pied versus 16 women. This means that the men could out-pie the women for each of the next three weeks 8 to 0 and still be trailing. That's how large the female pie deficit is. But the biggest deficit is in the quality of the pie-ings, not the raw numbers. And the quality of female pie-ings is way down compared to June and early July.
Yes, I know, I should be thankful for anything the show provides as it doesn't exist for the benefit of the WAM community. I got it.
The time it takes to upload the full episode to YT is inversely proportional to how many female pies occurred. Don't ask me why, but it's true. I'd check back late tonight.
The previous male pie-fests have typically been uploaded within minutes after airing...
Today is a holiday in Brazil. Today it is celebrated the Independence of Brazil. Maybe could be the reason they have not done uploading the episode of yesterday.(just a guess)
As I posted a few days ago the women out pied the men by an unexplainably wide margin in August.
August Totals: 32 men pied, 10 women pied
July also favored the women.
July Totals: 25 men pied, 19 women pied
The conspiracy theory holds that the producers manufactured this outcome to reverse an unfair advantage that favored the men in the early months of the show.
However, in June the women out pied the men as well.
June Totals: 17 men pied, 14 women pied
May is the first month I've found where the men out pied the women.
May Totals: 10 men pied, 19 women pied
I have yet to count the pie-ings for the April episodes where the show's format was in the development stage.
The grand totals for the last four months are:
84 men pied, 62 women pied
Whatever pie-ing imbalance existed in the early months of the show is negligible compared to the gross imbalance in favor of the women that exists today.
By my count the men have not out-pied the women for the last 8 episodes (including the most recent 9-6-15 episode).
And since the July 26th episode (until today) the men have been out-pied a staggering 44 to 16.
The men would have out-pie the women 7 to 0 each week for the next three weeks in order to draw even since May. This will not happen.
Such a sustained pie-ing imbalance over such a long duration of time can most logically be explained by active manipulation of the outcome by the producers and models.
The raw data however fails to address the fact that the women continue to pie the men with reckless abandon and for maximum humiliation while the men show increasing restraint with the few pie-ing opportunities they have. Again, this outcome is best explained by manipulation from the producers and models.
zozotown said: That lovely looking lady, Tati Zaqui, pied beautifully. Wowser. Time to throw out the conspiracy theories!
Damn. And just after I wrote my 2000-page screed blaming the Illuminati.
I also blame the Illuminati, for the fact that the really absurdly beautful one only got pied on half of her face, and for the fact I forgot my lunch money today. Having said that, the higher-def version of blue haired lady's pieing is now on youtube, so it's not all bad; search for Chega Mais (for the hard-of-thinking).
at the end of that clip, you can see at least two of the guys grabbing pies and running around mugging for the camera....then they cut the visual...wonder if they end up pieing some of the clean girls (off camera)...?
your "matter of fact"ness in reporting makes for entertaining reading. i wasn't aware of the conspiracy theories surrounding the show, but having popped in to look at occasional clips/read posts, i get the gist.
i chuckled at the fact that you've started watching with a pen and paper, but thanks for taking the time to do so/share, it's kind of interesting - at least if you're into pies and attractive women, which i just happen to be.

Well, if they get "punished" next week with 15 pies in a row (ON camera) we'll know for sure.

Thank you.
With the help of our Portuguese speaking friend Murk I was able to double-confirm that at least one woman had an agreement with at least one of the males not to be pied.
If you're interested in the details you can find that discussion in this thread.
Why do I get the feeling we're soon going to be hearing about "head snap" theories as part of this so-called conspiracy? Back and to the left, back and to the left...
"Theory" is NOT the opposite of "fact"!! A theory is a CONFIRMED/PROVED hypothesis. A theory is an abstract framework to EXPLAIN a set of observed facts.
"Women are not pied as much as men on Chega Mais because some of the women put it into their contracts not to be pied" is NOW a (proved/confirmed) theory, whereas before it was just a hypothesis, a conjecture. It is NOT a "fact".
An example of a fact would be: "4 women & 17 men got pied today on CM." or "Zoidberg is taking these semantics WAY too seriously."
Well, technically, the latter would be opinion, not fact.
I hate to "argle" with you, Dr. Z, but I feel I must at least "quiggle" with one of your points here.
Zoidberg Reborn said:"Women are not pied as much as men on Chega Mais because some of the women put it into their contracts not to be pied"is NOW a (proved/confirmed) theory, whereas before it was just a hypothesis, a conjecture. It is NOT a "fact".
How is this a "proved/confirmed theory"? There seems to be evidence that there has been some agreement between the men and the women that some women will not get pied, but we still don't know a thing about anyone's contracts, do we?
I just went back and looked at the previous 3-page run on CM. A few responses:
- I get it, people are being VERY detailed about all of this, putting a lot of time and thought into it, but...why not? WTF else are (some? most?) of us here for. The internet wasn't around during YCDTOTV or WHAT WOULD YOU DO? and i have to imagine the commentary would've been much the same, "Ah, weak night on WWYD last night, they had a pretty Mom but decided to bring Dad and two brothers on stage and pie them all, boo", etc.
- I tend to not like colored pies, and as some have pointed out, CM's pies are SO colorful that it does kind of take it out of the realm of being "strictly pie in the face" stuff for me. But on the other hand, the pies are of such an interesting middle ground between pies and slime/batter, etc. that aesthetically it's pretty great. Especially in some of the photos posted on that other thread, when you get a full face of stuff, when a girl is at the podium and she's still covered (and dripping, often), etc. -- i think if it was like "why are they wasting time with foamy cottage cheese pies that barely do anything", I'd have zero interest. But the coverage, at its best and often even at its worst, is pretty outstanding. And then, of course, you throw in that so far, the "least pretty" girl i've seen on there is like a 7 or an 8 at least.
- I figured most of these cheaply made game shows are pretty rigged, so the conspiracy of it doesn't really bother me that much. Although it does lean toward something that seems pretty obvious - to most outside our fetish, a woman getting a face full of pie is something of a tragedy (hair, makeup spoiled, etc.) whereas a guy getting pied is funny or at least a "null/void" thing where he can just wipe it off, but women (i'm speaking in a traditional sense) put so much into how they look, getting their hair right (and the girls on CM, much like the guys, look like they've all gotta be models of a sort), it's like "awwww.....how could they do that?!!!"
- I enjoyed learning more about what Rich likes and doesn't like/looks for in a mainstream/non-producer pie video, which is always interesting whenever someone who produces so much content and so much content that i enjoy discusses what they personally like and would purchase.
- Regis almost always makes me laugh; i don't like it when you guys beat up hard on each other, b/c i tend to be more of a "Really, can't we all get along?" person, but on a site that caters to a fetish and a niche and a fetish within a niche, etc., i realize people get pretty specific and irritated. But I can almost always count on Regis to be sassy-grumpy-funny.
- I need to move to Brazil.
I dunno if this has been discussed (probably), but with a show like this - and there does seem to be a number of latin/spanish language shows involving pies/mess - is it at all a cultural thing, in terms of model-quality beauty and taking that down a peg? Or is that an overshoot.
I find unlike a lot of American shows (like WHAT WOULD YOU DO or that Family Challenge show from the early/mid 90s), where occasionally you'd get a very pretty mom or sister but the bulk of the targets was "you see what you get", there are a number of CM-type shows that feature almost exclusively beautiful people, or at the least ladies in bikinis.
Frankly, rather than sit through the show, i am enjoying the clips, the pics, and the wrap ups/analysis as much as actually sitting through each episode.
Just to reiterate what I've mentioned before about Brazil: This is one country where the whole concept of "torta na cara" seems to be woven into the fabric of the culture. A native would have a better analysis than I, but in a nutshell: Imagine that "College Mad House," instead of being dropped after a season (and indirectly launching Greg Kinnear's career), becomes a national institution. It runs without interruption from 1991 on through the present day, with rip-off shows on rival networks, parodies, and homegrown versions.
Well, that's what basically happened in Brazil. "Passa ou Repassa" is their version of College Mad House, and all these shows you're mentioning (up to and including the current 'official' SBT version, as well as Chega Mais) take elements from it. And I'm not exaggerating when I say that you can go on YouTube now and find "local" versions of the pie game, complete with teams and jerseys and everything. Like in America, we do dumb things like kickball leagues? In Brazil they do backyard pie-in-the-face trivia contests.
So. Someone born in 1991 or later would be under 24 (basically the age of all the CM folks) and would've grown up in Brazil with PoR always being part of the culture. If you're looking for a reason, that's a start.

In the earliest episode of Chega Mais, before the show settled on the current format, they "punished" the losers mostly with pitchers filled with water, colored water and slime. It was really weak stuff.
When the planets finally aligned and a woman finally lost and the "punishment" finally was a pie you could see the oxygen leave the studio. (This was the first female pie-ing.)
Was the man REALLY going to push that pie into the face of that beauitful girl in the sexy dress with her hair and make-up done to perfection? He couldn't possibly do that! No way that scruffy dude in jeans and t-shirt would be permitted to humiliate a goddess like that! And nevermind the fact that this very same woman threw a pie in this very same man's face and wiped it through his hair only a few minutes prior. She was going to be embarrassed! That can't be fair??
After all, it's considered an act of degradation by many for a male to throw a pie in a lady's face as her arms are flailing wildly in fear and anxiety but it's perfectly acceptable and/or cute and/or downright hilarious when she pies his face and smears pie through his hair as he sits as still as a statue as he's instructed to do.
To align with social conventions (and the rules of good comedy) it was apparently decided shortly thereafter that at least two out of every three pies must directed at the males. Two out of three pies in the faces of females would be cruelty, not comedy, and might invite criticism and condemnation. So that's a non-starter. Not gonna be allowed to happen.
To doubly ensure the long-term viability of the pie-ing segment (and even greater laughter!) the women were encouraged to pie the men for maximum humiliation while the men would tacitly agree to be respectful with their singular pie-ing opportunity.
Comedy is King and any outcome that doesn't see the women out-pie and out-humiliate the men by a noticeable margin on a regular basis fails the laws of so-called comedy and will not be tolerated. Not even on a gameshow posing as a fair competition.
"Women are not pied as much as men on Chega Mais because some of the women put it into their contracts not to be pied"
would be an example of a theory (once proved), a hypothesis if not yet proved.
"Women are pied equally as often as men on Chega Mais are because dems da rules of the show"
would be an example of a theory (once proved), a hypothesis if not yet proved.
"Things fall to earth due to gremlins." would be an example of a theory (once proved), a hypothesis if not yet proved.
"Things fall to earth due to the same thing that causes planets to stay in orbits obeying Johannes Kepler's observed facts." would be an example of a theory (once proved), a hypothesis if not yet proved. (Proved by Isaac Newton)
"Things fall to earth" "50 women pied & 30 women pied on CM"
are not examples of theories. They are observations.
I was surprised to discover that the pie-ing imbalance in the first month of Chega Mais that allegedly favored the men to such a significant degree and justifiied tilting the competition to benefit the women did not exist.
I counted the pie-ings from the first five episodes of the show and here's what I found.
March/April Totals: 18 men pied, 18 women pied.
The number of pies thrown at males was equal to the number of pies thrown at females but for some reason many believed (myself included) that the men were overwhelming the women. What is the source of this misperception?
Perhaps when we see beautiful women in sexy dresses with hair and make-up done to perfection we excitedly overcount how many are being pied? Likewise, perhaps we undercount when men are pied because it seems like a non-event?
In the minds of the majority of non-wammers the pie-ing of one woman necessitates the pieing of at least two men to conform with social conventions and the rules of comedy.
So when 18 men are pied and 18 women are pied our reality is contorted and we perceive that the women are being overrun and humiliated and the men are being let off easy.
I guess-timate that a pie exchange rate of at least 2-to-1 (two pies thrown at males for every one pie thrown at a female) is fixed in the subconscious mind of the general public as necessary for a show to be considered fair and entertaining instead of sexist and demeaning.
It could never be tolerated (except in videos made specifically for the wam community) that women are out-pied or out-messed by a factor of 2-to-1 for any significant duration of time.
General television audiences would almost certainly express upset and dissatisfaction with a weekly pie-ing battle of the sexes that saw the men victorious by a massive ratio of nearly 4-to-1. This is roughly the ratio that occurred during the month of August on Chega Mais with nary a word of commentary from their audience.
