Bring back TISWAS!!! all with be forgiven.
Tiswas as been by far the best messy TV programme ever and not one in my opinon as ever matched Tiswas for gunge, the custard pies, buckets of water been thrown everywhere with that very famous The Phantom Flan Flinger, Chris Tarrant Sally James amongs others who was in the programme, way back in the 1970's and 80's too. Causing absolute chaos everytime for about 3 hours each Saturday morning, which include famous stars like Phil Colins with Genesis, Status Quo, Duran Duran. Pams People who were a famous dance girls group at the time and they had to play a game, silly game it was when they had to answer questions, if they got that answer wrong, well they got covered in gunge water, custard pies thrown at them and in the end they were a mess, so much so they could not see a thing, they were that covered in the stuff!

This show is so focused to get men gunged and pied its ridiculous. Woman avoids pie this week (she should have been pied as he got two more but because he knocked some brown toilet roll down he lost 5 rolls so got pied) then the boy band gets gunged.
Then next week all men again no females. I know it's signed for kids but the ratio if men to women guests is absolutely ridiculous.

Have to agree about the male guests thing. So far there have been numerous occasions where the trolley game (loser gets pied) has been played by two males. Lately when it's been male/female, the girl wins and the guy gets pied.

Totally agree was rooting for the vets to get it both to satisfy those that want a female gunging and the fact they were hotties. That said was not totally disappointed that the twinkly boy band got it

You have to get off your high horse. The gunge world does not revolve around what you want. At least we have gunge on mash up, there have been saturday morning shows which didn't include any mess. The old adage "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." applies here.

I don't have a "high horse" this is the 21st century. We are allowed to have opinions preferences to what each of us prefer without being jumped upon.
If people are happy to see men get it fair enough. I won't stop them at the same time if I think it's a shame this show is focused more on men I will say so. Last time I checked it's not a crime or against the rules of the site to say so.

Yes, it's not a crime but constantly moaning week after week that you didn't get your way is childish. There have been weeks when I wanted a celebrity to get messy but they didn't but you don't see me moaning about it.
This thread is frankly making me wish the BBC would go back to having nothing at all - if all we're going to get is overgrown children bitching about who it was on a literally weekly basis. What started off as a positive thread for people to identify the WAM segments to us all is being ruined by people hijacking it to act less maturely than the children the show is actually aimed at.

And yet you believe that TV companies *should* listen to you and your preferences. Their entertainment isn't made to confirm to you, no matter how ego centric and borderline homophobic your comments may or may not be.
I'm a minority in a minority in a minority here ( Wam, gay AND fat....) - For the first 7-8 years on the internet when I had discovered I loved pies so, i saw nothing but Women being pied. Yet it didn't repulse me? - it didn't make me want to write with fire and brimstone coming from my fingers cos people weren't messing enough men for my liking? - If you pardon the expression I took what I was given and liked it.
We're all a Minority. Lets face it, there isn't gungings going on all behind closed doors in the streets where we live, and yet people inside a minority feel its OK to marginalise other people in a minority because their fetish seems to trump mine? - Nope, life doesn't work like that.

Yeah, I understand that it's obviously frustrating for straight guys when they keep tuning in hoping for a girl to get gunged/pied but a guy gets it instead. A 50-50 ratio would be ideal I guess. I think part of the reason, as on Chega Mais, is that female guests (especially if their appearance is their currency) are generally less up for it and don't want to mess up their hair and make-up. Plus bear in mind that there's probably about 8 times as much female WAM content as male WAM on the internet. So even if Saturday Mashup, Chega Mais and their ilk keep disappointing you by getting more guys messy than girls, you still have tons of high-quality female WAM online to turn to - much more than we gay guys have of male WAM.

Personally I'm fairly delighted with this series, and I'm 100% straight. YES, the ratio of m/f guests has been out, but that's mainly just due to timing. Someone mentioned girl bands - aside from Little Mix, there basically aren't any right now! So that's statistically out. And in terms of the CBBC-orientated guests, most of the shows on at the moment are male presented too, so it's really just the wider area of pop culture affecting it.
Where I'm delighted by the series - aside from Yasmin & Jonny being great presenters, Hacker generally being hilarious, and Danger Mouse being great - is that IT'S SCRUPULOUSLY FAIR ON WHO GETS PIED / GUNGED.

Present me the post go on do that? If you actually read my posts I have not said anything about anyone preferring men to get it. I just said that it would be great if it was balanced out a little bit between men and women.

I am happy it went the way it did by contrast however I suspect that next week it could be the two presenters and the full team of guests. I suspect there will be something for both male and female wam fans next week. Fingers crossed.
Decent gunging for the female Blue Peter presenter this morning. Would have been even better if she took her Santa Hat off. Shame she won the trolley game though.
