Wow! Thanks for sharing the pics Duncan! I'd never seen some of them before. I'll be saving them for sure Last night when I was done with everything, I went to to open an old box I'd found again about a year and a half or two years ago. The box contained pictures, notes, and things from old Messyfun shoots. Like a time capsule! But the best part of the box was the pictures taken by Rob. When I opened the pic envelopes for the first time last year I thought I should send the pics to soundguy, who would probably appreciate them, and see if he can upload them/preserve them along with everything else, but for now I think I'll share a couple of the "photos of photos" I took last night. These are from Robs trip to Woodstock. He had gone there with Daisy. He was always so good at finding random, real life moments of WAM in the world.
Sorry for the delete/repost everyone. I didn't see the pics at first, and wanted to be sure they were here! That's what I get for posting in a hurry....
I'll never forget reading that sad news here on UMD 20 years ago.
I never really knew the man but I loved his work! Great technical skills, am artist with mess selection and application, and fabulous taste in models! Shaun, Daisy and Brittany are still the hottest ladies ever to work in this genre!
Count me in as someone who felt totally alone in having this fetish until I found out about Messyfun in a magazine. I suddenly didn't feel so weird . Thanks to Rob! Still have a few vhs tapes from the mid nineties - yeah I'm old
Ariel's pie shop with Cassandra was my go to video for years. Loved that first scene where Cassandra gets bombarded with two pies dropped from above. I remember being stunned when word arrived of his passing.

I have NEVER seen that, never bought it, but always wanted to.
I remember him saying, either in a forum or it could have been in a personal email to me, how that 12-woman pie fight shoot nearly killed it. It put him in bed, sick, for several days.
So, I have the original trailer for 12 girl pie fight; an 8.65 AVI file from 5/5/1997. Can I upload that video to my profile? I started to, and then got to the checkbox about owner copyright stuff. Since it was available for public access, does it make it OK for me to upload it to my profile?
If not, is there someplace I can upload it, or is there even an interest for it? I also have Ariel's pie fight, and four other MessyFun trailers.
I discovered Messyfun after a very small writeup in Playboy (in '97 or '98), It was the first thing I searched for when I gained internet access a month or so later. Discovered UMD a short time later (much to MM's regret, I'm sure).
I can remember him well before he passed away. Have one if his tapes, sadly I don't have a working VCR. Have always been into Wam, and I truly respect him as the late innovator of what Wam has become. The mud videos are the best, they are just not erotic, the sensualism is what makes them the best of all time.
SStuff said: I never met Rob in person, but I owe him as much as anyone in the community.
I truly thought I was the ONLY person on Earth who had this quirk (I didn't even know it was a fetish back then) until I stumbled across the MessyFun page on the 33rd page of searches on (I'm guessing) Netscape.
He was the first person I ever spoke to about WAM, via a series of emails where he was warm and friendly, and gently eased me into the community. (Even suggesting a PO Box would be a good investment since I was living with 2 roommates at the time.) I got his monthly catalog, with the B&W photos, sent to that same box. Through him I ordered my earliest WAM: MF, but also WAMTEC, SSS, and Splosh tapes. Through that catalog I discovered Hurley Coward, Neil Edwards, and others.
He was my guide into the world of WAM, as I'm sure he was for countless others. Only wish I'd been able to have a beer with him in person.
I too thought I was the only one with this kink/fetish. It was a very long time ago: I was on my parent's computer and searched messy girls or something similar. MessyFun was the very first website I found. I was awestruck. I'm like...wait....there's more people like ME!? Then, if my memory serves me correctly, there was a link to the UMD at the bottom of the page. And after a few years of lurking here with no profile I finally made one. 15 years later, here I am telling this story.
