So this happened a week ago but after I shared this with my husband he told me I should post it here.
Ever since I found out about his "kink", and started participating, he said I would one day start to look at pies...differently. I kind of brushed it off not thinking any more of it. Until this last week.
I had a girl friend over for a girl's night and told her to bring snacks and I would make dinner. When she got here she brought in a few grocery bags and set them on the counter. There was cider, popcorn, Sourpatch kids, oh and a Bostin Cream Pie. She brought dessert!
Then it hit me, I was actually turned on by a pie. It wasn't that I was turned on about thinking about getting hit by it, it was was more what the pie represented, what normally happens when a pie is on our counter. I was almost embarassed to be around it in front of my girl friend. I think it was the fact that I wasnt expecting for her to bring a pie over, so it caught me off guard. I of course immediately thought about what my husband would probably do with it, I couldn't help it, which he enjoyed hearing about later.
Just thought I would share that little story. I assume there are others that have had similar situations happen.
When I read this the first time, my mind stopped right there and read your words literally. It actually took me a moment to let go of the silly idea that your friend brought a Boston Cream Pie to your house and hit you with it. Just goes to show where my mind is.
But I completely hear you. At work we have a little potluck where people bring in pies... to eat... on Pi Day. As I was walking down the hall with a tin full of lemon meringue in my palm, I momentarily got a little turned on. Not because I would EVER throw a pie at any of my co-workers, but I think because just about every other time in my life when I have walked around like that, I was just about ready to explode.
Love these moments. When my wife and I first started "playing" as we call it, we'd get to the bakery section or the baking aisle and she'd catch me looking at her as she was looking at a pie or some cake batter or something like that, and give me the biggest "I have a secret" smile. It's fun, having those secrets between the two of you. And you're right. It's what they represent that makes it a turn-on. In her case it's the trust, vulnerability, etc. that I show in her that turns her on.
