I remember the old Pievids with big casts in them. Multiple girls getting pied and pieing others. I know money, model availability, and now COVID all play a role in why you don't see those videos anymore.
I also know it takes a lot of planning going into those type of videos.
While I do miss seeing more of these videos made. I understand it might be awhile before we see more.
Edit: See I can make a post without saying Wonderful or Fantastic pics... wait a minute. DANG IT!
We've done scenes with three girls recently, and plan to again, and in the past we shot with up to 5, but not sure the logistics would allow that nowadays. It certainly is fun when you have more people involved, we did a three-way one where whoever had just been gunged got to pick which of the other two got it next, which was a lot of fun, and we've some creative card games for multiple players too.

Now I want to try and make this happen...somehow. Four is manageable-ish!
I complete agree. the massive multi-girl scenes are one of the hallmarks of the Good Old Days of internet WAM. I just want to correct one thing:
I know money, model availability, and now COVID all play a role in why you don't see those videos anymore.
It's money. It's just money. That's it. A reputable producer who can get one or two women to show up and take some pies can get five or six using a combination of organization, perseverance, and word of mouth. But that's extra models to pay and extra supplies to buy. And that adds up--quick.
A producer could charge the community an amount representative of how much they invested in such a production, but how many people are going to pay $60-$80 for a WAM video? Not many I suspect. So $8 single-girl-in-a-dirty-bathtub videos it is!
Yea I also miss the big mudfight from AllWam and a website that cant be named. It's all about the ROI a shot production will yield.. solution might be offshoring large scenes?

Fantastic post, Devo
To clarify, you are allowed to mention Mostwam in this kind of discussion - just not to actively plug or promote it. Only the titles of children's shows are actually prohibited from mention.

Not my thing, personally. I find it hard to focus on too many women.

From someone who helped film and clean up I can tell you that it was a lot of planning. Lenny was the master of getting so many scenes done in one entire weekend.
I still do not know how he did it and keep all the customers happy even when a model would flake out and not show up.
I certainly miss them, and nobody would really understand what it takes until you see a mini trailer pull up in the driveway and we have to carry over 600 buttercream pies in boxes to the back yard.
Even more fun cleaning up every scene and disposing of the mess.
So do I... I've been trying to save for ages to be able to hire multiple models at once again. It's very difficult but I'm determined... even then will probably be 2 to 3 rather than 4+ but I'll keep dreaming

If anyone is going to manage it, it's you. Providing you feel up to it, you have the luxury of being able to save up, and sustain your sites with your own content, whereas no one wants to see Rev filling his kecks with Ambrosia.
Although you tend to focus on well known models these days, so I guess that makes it more difficult to save?
Me too! I'm hoping to get all the gals together for a messy scene and hopefully all of them for a mud scene this year! I'm waiting till it's warmer bc the scene I wanna do with them? It will be so scrunched indoors. I want things to FLY!
"Three" does seem to be the number of models (at most) these days. I'm certainly not opposed to 4+ but from a production standpoint it would be a small fortune and a big headache unless done by one of the the major producers.
Although you tend to focus on well known models these days, so I guess that makes it more difficult to save?
Nope. I pay standard industry rates which don't differ much even when a model is well known (or at all in fact with all the ones I've worked with) and if a model tells me their fee is less, I insist on paying the normal amount. It's the same gig after all, so only fair.
Anyway no advice needed, I'm not moaning, I'm not stuck, it just takes time. I've managed it before and will again. Just like many things it's not easy, especially while trying to make studio improvements and keep the regular content going through all the stuff life keeps throwing at me. I'll get there in the end though, always do.
The problem for us is it's not just one scene. If I was to have five girls here for a day, then that's three or four 5-girl scenes to be shot that day, which would cost one fortune in model fees and a second fortune in all the gunge to mess them up with. It takes 12 x 1kg cartons of custard (or equivalent of other substances) to fully mess up one fully clothed girl, so it takes 60 of them for 5 girls. So now, on a day planned for 4 x 5 girl shoots, that's 20 full messy scene model fees, plus 20 hosedown bonuses, plus 240 cartons of custard, plus probably 5 bottles of shampoo, 10 of conditioner, and multiple runs of the washing machine to wash all the clothes and boots.
I guess if done as a one-off evening shoot, possibly followed by a wetlook one, that would reduce the costs, though its less convenient for the girls to do an evening instead of a full day, and would be harder to coordinate.
We generally charge $15 for a 2 girl scene and $18 for 3 girls. Would people be willing to pay $21 for 4, or $24 for 5 girls?
I can think of quite a few fun ways to do multi-girl scenes, including games with two teams of two plus a compare, all of whom get messy by the end. But much trickier to co-ordinate than a 2 of 3.
I'm not usually a fan of remakes but if a producer was to recreate the likes of the piewell beauty contest or pie wedgies, I'd be willing to part with cash!
