Howdy partners in slime,

I'm sorry if this has already been asked in a separate thread. I didn't see anything in my exhaustive three minute search.
My gf and I love methylcellulose slime. We've made up batches of consistencies ranging from "thick water," to lube (awesome), to gloopy paste (not a fan). However, we are really looking to make a slime that we can play with as we are... well, making good on my name.
I think I once heard that glycerol is used to make the slime stringy- like the white of a raw egg- but I can't remember. Also, I want to make sure that what we make stays 100% safe to get... everywhere.

I use the "slime bath" product you can get online or from toy shops, a small amount goes a long way to make stuff stringy!

Most slimes are based on some kind of long chain polymer like methyl/ethyl cellulose or polyvinyl alcohol. White glue is an example of the latter.

The real stringy kind used in a lot of Japanese WAM videos employ even longer chains. I'm not sure if anyone has ever nailed down the exact recipes they use, but PolyOx (Polyethylene Oxide) is one of those possible substances. It's kind of tricky to mix up successfully. It involves a very precise ratio of polyox, a borax solution, and a "carrier" like sugar. You can get it as a pre-made concoction called J-lube online or at farm stores. It gets used a lot in the fisting fetish but it's original purpose is something like cattle gynecology

Slube and messy supplies vivislime lite and vivi slime extreme are stringy - one just a little, one well, extreme!

You can get slube on amazon (not sure about USA though if you are US based)

Dunktankdave at the gungeshop also has a stringy version

There are various recipes online too using other stuff like glue and contact lens fluid but check them carefully for examples so you get the effect you want (all are different)

I mix natrosol or methylcellulose (HEC) with X-lube powder, which is purely made of polyethylene oxide (PEO). It is my favorite substance ever. You can make any gunge as stringy and stretchy as you'd like by adding PEO. MessySupplies Vivi Slime Lite is the exact same thing (HEC + PEO), but it doesn't contain enough PEO for my liking.

What I do is mix the mcellulose and lube powder in separate containers and mix them together once both are dissolved. (It's the fastest way to mix without clumps, because PEO powder will take forever to dissolve in HEC, and HEC powder will instantly clump in PEO) I usually mix them 50/50 with both at similar viscosities, but you can use substantially less lube (or more) depending on what consistently you like. 10/90 is like Vivi Slime Lite, 50/50 is stringy slime and 90/10 is like smooth mucus.
