I'm after an ID on a xmas movie that's currently showing on the Sony Movie channel in the UK. It looks like there's a half decent pie fight / food fight in it between two attractive ladies but despite searching around, I can't find any info. I've attached a clip that I managed to capture using my phone, not great but it's all I have so hope it shows up on here OK! It's about 4 seconds into the clip, very brief unfortunately. Anyone who gets the sony xmas movies channel, it's the advert that airs fairly regularly showing their 'festive weekday' films. Anyway, it looks a good scene so any help would be appreciated! The pie hit makes the most wonderful sound, reminds me of the 'pietargets.com' hits!!
Doing a research in YT I find this pie fight in "A Beauty & The Beast Christmas"! But that's apparently not the one you are looking for, so we have a bonus! Now chalkypie give us the clip!
No, I found that scene on Beauty and the beast and at first I thought I'd cracked it, but it's definitely 2 ladies exchanging pies/cakes. I'll try and upload different ways and see if I can share it, might take a while as I can't get on here very often...
I've also seen the ad you're on about (seen it only once mind, caught whilst watching repeats of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire). Thought bout posting about it on here but didn't fancy setting myself up for trailing through those shite looking Christmas films. Looked half decent like you said so im certain some of the peeps on this shite who've got a record of just about everything will find it.
Well, here are some caps from the brief clip chalkypie share with me. There is a title and schedule, but that's isn't the name of the movie (apparently) because I search in imdb and didn't find anyrthing. I try different Christmas titles from the Sony Movies UK web page but nothing yet.
Are there any other clues in the ad, like the people who stand behind them, scene before or after that might be connected to it, etc.? Perhaps someone might recognize any of the actresses?
Thanks for finding the movie. I was able to view n Italian dubbed version. They drop the ring in the cake and smash it up looking for it. It's a quick scene with only one actually betting a cake to the face. The other only has some cream smeared on her.

We can thank a half forgotten network which seems to only show either poorly aged American cop shows and "classic" episodes of who wants to be a millionaire, showing adverts for low grossing Christmas movies nearly 2 months early for that. Useful for something at least

Well, it was CKWam who found the name of the movie.
Anyway, I have this feeling that it was already known to some but "forgotten" (i.e. not shared nor announced anywhere) so it appears new to us. We should be archiving all these finds (ones line these, all the Turkish, Russian, Indian shows etc.) on IWDB or elsewhere.
