I've occasionally seen scenes, notably from Allwam but others too, where models in formal or satin clothing also carry handbags, to complete their look. I get that designer bags are cool, and some may like to see them being trashed, but because of where they tend to hang, hip-height, to me they end up blocking the view of properly seeing the trunk area of the model's skirt, dress, or trousers, getting messy, which to me is one of the main money-shots in a scene.

Wondering what others think, do handbags add to a scene, or detract from it?

Side note: I gather what's known as a "handbag" in the UK/EU is a "purse" in the US. Over here, a purse is or was a very small leather bag for storing coins and cards, that is kept inside the handbag, as a kind of female version of a wallet. Nowadays of course evryone just uses their phones to pay, so cash is rapidly becoming obsolete, but people using handbags now keep their phones in them.

For me, I find it a part of the "look" or the outfit. I love it, especially when someone fills it with mess when it still has items inside. I would say it's definitely a turn on for me, same way as filling a pair of expensive heels.

One of my favorite scenes is from Larzord, where she had an expensive Loungefly backpack and handbag and did exactly just that, with personal items still in them (notebooks, phone, wallets, makeup, etc). Never really thought it would excite me as much as it did.

Is that the larzord scene with pudding? Or am I somehow missing a great scene?

Also looking for suggestions of other scenes similar as they are VERY hard to find..

Yeah that was the one!! I thought it was an incredible mess because there was a lot of focus on the outfit and accessories which is a particular thing for me.

Likewise, I'd love to see similar scenes.

I love seeing a woman with all the accessories getting wet or messy as it appears as if it is accidental. After all, what lady would ruin her best clothes especially if she has on heels, jewellery, watch and carrying a handbag full of things.
I have destroyed a few handbags over the years and try to put something in them. Here we see Davina pouring paint over her new leather handbag before cutting it open, taking out the contents and destroying them. Including new undies, make-up, wallet with credit cards and money and a phone and tablet.

I know the scene you mean, it is one of my all-time favourites, how she empties her bag and backpack, one item at a time, her keys, her phone, her purse with money and cards, then stands on everything, in a deliberate act to finish everything off, one of the hottest scenes ever, without any nudity at all. I've never seen anything like it

It's lovely to hear that there are more of us than I thought.

I *love* handbags and handbag trashings in wam scenes, and often feature them in my own work. I love seeing the contents like mobile phones, diaries, lipstick and spare knickers get ruined. Another trick is to fill the handbag with gunge or porridge, then tip it over the victim's head.

If you search 'handbag' in my store, you'll see how often we have used them, or just take a look at the selection of pics, all from my own scenes . You may be able to tell that they are a huge thing in wam for me

Which scenes would you reccomend that have items in the bags? Especially phones and wallets?

Being honest, across 11 years of filming and 2000 scenes, I honestly couldn't tell you off the top of my head exactly which ones had phones or wallets in the handbags, sadly. I don't think many, if any, had wallets but several definitely had phones, diaries, spare knickers etc.

Perhaps run a search on 'handbags' in my store and have a look at all the images *and* read through the descriptions to see if they mention the contents, and sound up your street. I really hope you'll find something to enjoy

They definitely exist but I am afraid that at my my age I can't recall all the specifics, they say memory is the second thing you lose as you get older (I forget what the first one is )

I believe a handbag to be an essential accessory for any elegantly dressed woman. Therefore it follows that if she has her clothes messed, then her bag should be trashed too. All those intimate personal items getting ruined, a real turn on.

I'll just add in the name of linguistic accuracy that in some parts of the US, a purse is actually called a pocketbook....

Interesting responses! I see most / all of the bags shown in replies seem to be the hand-carried type, wheras the ones that I'd previously seen were on shoulder straps, hence hanging at hip level blocking the view of the trunk of the carrier's skirt or trousers. While not my personal thing I can see the "willing submission" angle of someone handing over their bag full of things and watching as the bag is filled with custard before being passed back to them.

Interesting to see how balanced the poll is though, I'm not the only one who doesn't want their view of the main event blocked by an accessory. Good to know.

It starts off great, but imagine my surprise when she showed off the inside of the bagsand it wasn't empty but filled with makeup, her cell phone, car keys, notebooks, etcthen crushes everything with her boots.

I'm like "this can't be real?" But it has to be one of the best scenes I've seen with this level of dedication. I love it.

I JUST bought one of these scenes-- with Kayleth as a new employee getting trashed. I am a pie in the face guy, but I like the women to be well-dressed and that often involves a handbag (purse). I also like the idea of a slow trashing of the model where her purse and everything else gets messed. Sort of a deliberate taking apart of a pretty woman via mess. In particular (and this is partly why I bought this scene from Rev) I LOVE when a woman's nice shoes get filled with mess and placed back on her feet. Anyway, if you like purse and shoe destruction, Rev has a lot of great scenes involving that.

So, a handbag is a purse.

A purse is a pocketbook.

Is a wallet still a wallet?

Hey!!!! I've always wondered actually where you guys got your bags from and how much they were and the materials. In terms of the wider question, I personally love expensive or designer stuff get ruined generally, hence why I love WAM lol!!!

I do find that with some stuff, some items are either claimed as designer/expensive in vids or whatever, but they're not (but just used that terminology for effect) or they're set aside early in the vid which is really disappointing.

I'd love to see more purses get ruined, mainly coz they're a core part of a woman's outfit. I think for me, one of the things I love is the kinda taboo and the horror of fashion loving people (particularly women) getting their clothes and outfits etc ruined and damaged. Personally I'm not into the more fun laughy slapstick stuff, but deffo the more story driven, "upset" type vids. Handbags i think get overlooked, whereas stuff like shoes get looked at more.

Unfortunately obvs, and I guess especially with regards to the cost no doubt being preventitve for ruining bags, it means that expensive handbags rarely feature in videos. Personally I'd love to see more. Especially name brand ones. It'd add so much more to the videos in my opinion. But that's just me.

RevSlymsford, with regards to you guys, if you'd be ok to answer, as I said I always wondered where you got your bags from. I know in video you mention a lot of the clothes you use are expensive, I just wondered if you got some level of designer ones or you were able to get batches you can use in vids, or if you use that sort of terminology to enhance the video, if those questions aren't too inappropriate or prying.....

I am delighted in equal measure with this thread and with the Rev's response tp it!

It's largely thanks to his clips that I have come to appreciate the destruction of handbags in WAM scenes -- as an idea, it sounds pretty uninteresting, but when carried out with such artistry as one finds in his clips, the exciting appeal becomes clear.

But why? I'd like to suggest that a handbag acts as a kind of extension of the model's nether regions and their covering, i.e. her knickers. Just as the knickers are pulled open at the front in order for some messy substance to be poured in and gather around her private parts, so the handbag is opened -- to the horror of the model -- before her eyes, and a liquid decanted into the open bag where it proceeds to pool.

(This dynamic is particularly captured in some of the photos generously shared by the Rev. Second row, numbers 2,3, 6, and 8, for instance.)

Maybe this also sounds a bit too psychoanalytic, but I'm convinced that knicker-filling and handbag destruction have much in common -- as the presence in the handbag of a spare pair of knickers, duly trashed, surely confirms.

I feel this is perhaps one of those questions, like 'How many of your models are actually into wam ?" that can only disappoint if the truth is told, and where a wilful suspension of disbelief works for everyone.

But, I try to always answer an honest question with an honest answer, so here goes.....

While occasionally we have got lucky and found an expensive looking handbag in a charity shop, almost always it's actually a standard, everyday handbag from ebay or suchlike. I think for most customers the fantasy is what is most important (one time we genuinely destroyed a brand new $500 dress, I think it was, and it didn't affect sales one iota) . The budgets on wam scenes when you are making a living are very small sadly, and most custom customers are on tight budgets too. So almost always it's an inexpensive bag, but because we agree 100% with your sentiment

and because we want to make those kind of scenes and love making them, we go with the art of the possible.

And if a rich benefactor wanted to send us designer handbags or clothes for our models to use, we'd never say no , but until then we are facilitating a wilful suspension of belief, to make the scenes more in line with the wam values you espouse above.

So there you go..a 100% honest answer. I really hope it hasn't killed it for you.

Please don't go on to ask how many models I have worked with are actually into wam, or anything about Father Christmas.

You may well be right, although I think for me it's more along the lines of what Matt said. I think of handbags as a core part of a woman's outfit, and just as I love the destruction of 'expensive' and 'new' clothes, I love that same wanton destruction of handbags.

For me the spare knickers piece is about the notion that after receiving a punishment trashing, the girl is usually left naked and totally trashed and 'will have to go home like that'. Her one possible tiny figleaf against her total lack of modesty would be a spare pair of knickers in her handbag...so to destroy them too, just completes the punishment, so to speak.

That isn't to say that on a deeper psychological method you aren't totally right, it's just to explain my ;'on the surface' feelings.

And it has to be said thats scene of Larzstord's that someone linked to does look intriguingly hot, even to me.

I am now wondering if at some point we should do a scene with a girl in overalls or a boilersuit with a toolbox or toolbag. A misbehaving apprentice being punished for her misdemeanours by the strict works forewoman? Definitely an idea to play with.

Once again, Rev -- you've done it: What oft was thought, but ne'er so well express'd! Your explanation for the delight taken in ruining the spare pair of knickers in the content of a punishment trashing is absolutely spot-on.

Their destruction "completes" the punishment -- that's a wonderful formulation, and captures well the thinking behind those gleeful expressions as the model dishing out the punishment cheerfully pours the mess into the handbag to the evident distress of the model undergoing the trashing.

What's not to like?

A bit late to this thread, but we have been spending some of our winter downtime sorting through our thrifting finds. Noticed we had a couple formal gowns with matching purses (and wraps/shawls) which I think adds to the looks
