No offense, but I (and my family) have ZERO interest wasting our time thinking or discussing meaningless economic-socio philosophy. Or reading /watching science fiction.
That is one thing I admire about them.

They're into computer programming. I'm into mathematical modeling + theorem-proving.
We are both into politics and practical political action.

And I get it - that math may seem like philosophy to many. And it can drift off into that direction.
But, whatever you call it, I just want to keep bringing philosophy back to math and quantifying economic-social philosophy and adherence to logical consistency of application of formal definitions.

But, just to be clear, I am the complete opposite of conspiracy theorists who believe THEY have "special knowledge" about the world that "nobody else has" that is so much more important than anything anyone else knows or cares about.
EVERY SINGLE SOUL has special knowledge about histories and conflicts and issues that everybody else knows little to nothing about. Just because the topic of aliens and "the paranormal" sounds sexy, glamorous, exotic, it is just 1 little pixel in an ocean of issues humans and nonhumans deal with or think about or care about.

Fair enough, ain't fuck all concrete about posada I'll give ya that. Meaningless? Well certainly. Bonkers though, that's the ticket innit. Only other maths based thing I can think of for ya then at this mo was that fuckin Soviet dissident Igor Shafarevich. Prick contributed heavily to algebraic number theory and algebraic geometry. The entire David Paulides Missing 411 series of over 1400 truly bizarre missing person cases.
I bought 7 of his books, read 8 of them. I stopped buying from him since he supports
fishing and hunting. But I take his research very seriously.

Paulides makes NO speculations in his book as to what caused these persons to go missing, some to return dead, a few to return alive, others never to be found. Started off mainly
researching people going missing in National Parks. Most of his cases are about people
going missing in National Parks. But, he has a book: Missing 411: A Sobering Coincidence
that deals exclusively with missing college students, almost all males.

I got so into this 2 years ago I had to enter the data into a spreadsheet to analyze patterns.

But, again, unlike many of the famous ufologists, I do NOT make any big grand sociological assertions about "what will happen when disclosure takes place".
No: the ufo subject, and the alien hypothesis along with it, are just one of a trillion issues have to deal with. If/when governments start disclosing what they know or believe about aliens,
it will make headlines, for awhile, like Covid has, but, unlike Covid,
it won't have any big practical change to our civilization.

Idiot contrarian conspiracists who for a century had been clamoring to get government to take their stories seriously about "aliens are in a cabal with the CIA" etc will then simply turn into contrarian assholes claiming "the govt is making up bullshit stories that aliens exist".

Each individual, every organization will have its own opinion on the matter.
No organization will deserve nor will receive any special handling just because of its
size or fame (hint hint: religion)

Meanwhile, the world will still have to continue to fight scammers and liars and frauds like Elon Musk and Elizabeth Holmes of Theranos infamy, and corrupt evil politicians like DeSantis, and fight manmade global warming.
