Can anyone recommend any clips where the subject is getting pied, slimed etc but acting like nothing is happening, or trying to carry on with what they're doing regardless? I think I remember Splosh doing something like this, but I can't remember exactly which video(s).

Is this something that people would be interested in?

I once commissioned a wetlook custom with a similar premise, featuring a model sipping a glass of gin so dry, she acted completely oblivious to getting soaked.

In the mainstream, the "Thank You Desk" with Holly Willoughby was like that. At the end of the show, Holly would be reading "thank you's" and credits, and off-screen people would be throwing pies and gunge and water at/on her. She would continue to read as best she could. The mess was pretty violent, so a lot of times she had to clear her eyes or her mouth. And she didn't do it dead-pan, she would laugh during it. But that was so hot, seeing her trying to do her "job" and getting trashed with mess. She was such a great sport about it!

Gooey News features my favourite Splosh! model Rachel Stevens (no, not that one!) being deluged with food and mud whilst reading the news (from Gooey Girlies, I think) At the time, the messiest I'd seen. There is another one I've got where the main female model is reading a 'children's' story in a very posh voice whilst being pied and treacled etc (will have to look up the title in my collection). Perhaps, though, rather than ignoring the circumstances they are making minimal, grudging acknowledgements of it whilst attempting to maintain their dignity.

Yes, these! There's something about the futile attempt to maintain some dignity in the face of the onslaught. Splosh is such a loss!

"That girl won't shut the fuck up" by piefight girls. Still up in their wamstore collection. A lady keeps droning on and on on her cellphone while getting pied and such and trying to just continue on with what she's doing regardless of it. I actually always liked the model too, she played the part well and I liked her look. Shame she wasn't in anything else.

The Girl Who Won't STFU is one of my faves too. I really loved that model, too, but perhaps was not everyone's cup of tea. There's a delicious bit where she's topless and Neil's hand is in shot holding a cake. Such genuine flickers of anticipation move across her face as he delays pushing the pie into her face (before eventually doing so) is just lovely.

And mseven125, I love that B2BMessy scene as well: the posh frocks, hysterical chatter and hyperbole as they're doused in custard by Miss T - and the characters (so 'drunk' on the custard) are mad as a box of frogs and just don't give a fuck!

One of the Moomin Hallowe'en specials had Shell telling a joke that lasted an entire minute - all the time while gunge was descending on her. She just carried on regardless.

Wetandmessy.com have a few that sort of fit this category (why oh why are their updates so infrequent these days :-( ), including Odette trying to give a job interview, Tracey telling a joke and Kym just getting pied in the face over and over again in POV.

Pie Fight Girls also did a nice line in this sort of thing, so thanks for reminding me of that. I might have to buy up some of their back catalogue again. I used to have loads but they've all been lost over the years.

Not sure if it counts but Lisa has a scene in her collection where she tries to remain neutral in her expression. There's also a clip I found online years ago that features a girl with a red clown nose getting gunged with various items while staring at the camera. Haven't been able to find that one since but it was great.

The aforementioned Splosh!'s Amanda in "Story Corner", from 'Juicy Pairs', plus, one of my own faves I'd forgotten from Piedfaces: Janey and Selena, who sit there talking about method acting, seemingly 'oblivious' to the flying pies.

The Amanda gif is just so delicious on every level. Her smallest expressions and looks to camera are perfection. Wish these films were still about, and indeed that Bill could be around and making new ones.

This little scene is actually from the first volume of a series of videos put out by Playboy in the 80's, and it introduced a segment about the Crazy Horse cabaret in Paris. I rented it way back then because there was a segment on the Playmate Playoffs in it(which was a let down for me), but this surprise pie scene redeemed my rental fee.

Piegirl Kay did the best ever version of this kind of video. I think it's called fan_mail. She imagines what others must think her typical day is and she gets pied brushing her teeth, making dinner, ironing and many other house hold chores. What I think I liked most about it was that she totally ignored all the pies thrown at her and just kept doing what she was doing.

I pied a couple of girls for two different videos a few years ago in a style that might suit what you are looking for. Both girls had to talk about their day whilst ignoring the fact I was throwing pies at them. One of them was very good at it, the other was pretty good too but she did remove the plates from her face each time and clear her mouth to keep on talking but both were fun to shoot and I might try it again sometime soon.
