"Film submissions for Messtival are now open!"

Hi guys!
You may have already seen the post about Messtival over in the group (https://umd.net/groups/welcome-to-messtival) but if you haven't joined yet, I wanted to make sure you know that submissions are now OPEN for Messtival - the first WAM film festival & awards ceremony in London on 17th March, supported by UMD & Slube.
We're going to be screening 3 hours of WAM movies in a beautiful independent cinema; it's going to be incredible. We're also going to be awarding the stars of our community at a glam awards ceremony during the intermission!
If you'd like to come along, tickets are now available on messtival.eventbrite.co.uk.
Here's the guidelines for submitting a film; submissions ARE NOW OPEN!
- You don't have to attend to submit a film; we welcome submissions from every country and want to show off the creme de la creme of the sploshing community worldwide!
- Keep all films under 15min so that we can fit in as many as possible into the screenings; if it's over this length but you're desperate to show it, make an edit of the best bits (or leave a little to the imagination so people are eager to see the rest...)
- We are accepting films released in any year - as long as you're the creator, feel free to send it in
- Size doesn't matter (wink) - the higher quality, the better.
- Submit your videos by 03/03/19 - anything sent after this date won't be considered for showing.
- Use FilmFreeway.com/Messtival to submit your videos; this also encodes tracking within your video which ensures that it's impossible for it to be used for any other purpose!
Make sure you include the following information when submitting:

Synopsis:
Submitter name:
Email:
Country of origin:
Length:
Model(s):
- In the event that we're overloaded with submissions, the Messtival team will begin considerations to choose the best! When this is completed, we'll post a list of the films that are going to be screened.

We won't be streaming the submitted films as it would be very easy for someone to simply set up a screen capture and pirate them - we will be publishing a list of all chosen films (and links to purchase them if they're already released) shortly before the event.
We will be livestreaming the awards ceremony so that you can find out the winners and watch them accept their awards in real-time!
Oh my goodness, I just watched a few of the submissions we've had so far and I'm in awe!

They can be something old from the vaults or something brand new that hasn't even been released yet - I want to showcase a huge variety of films, styles, models, substances and countries, whether you're a longstanding studio or a solo newbie!

We have extended the deadline for film submissions to THIS FRIDAY 8TH MARCH as a fair few of you asked for a little bit longer!
