I am wondering if people have a preference for a particular mud color or type of mud associated with that color. Do you have a favorite color which you like to see or experience? Do you not have a preference, enjoy all of the colors, or dislike only some colors? Do you have a ranking?
I am curious if there is a trend towards the lighter colors, darker colors, brownish colors, or the vibrant colors of mud. Are all colors equal? Is one color most popular? Does mud color not matter at all?
(The images are synthetic examples of the colors. The post is not about synthetic content, so I did not tag it as synthetic.)
I love viewing mud that is near black, it looks incredible. Easily my favorite. Then light gray is probably my second favorite. The way it casts shadows and looks like stone is super appealing. And when it dries it turns light, and flakes off. Incant wait to experience that one day!!!

Seconded on black! Nothing beats that imho, like the stuff TannerQS has near him.

The mud color that I like the most and is also considered very sexy on the female models would be dark grey. Since I seen some scenes from MPV and MG they used dark grey mud.
I picked yellow, because I have fond memories of a path with really sticky yellow mud. It's been on my WAM radar ever since the day we went there from school on a field trip. There was a big patch of this mud and we were all trying to get round the edge, but a few lads dared to walk through it. The first two succeeded, but the third was wearing trainers rather than wellies and got stuck, his trainers completely swallowed by the yellow sludge.
I've had the pleasure of playing in just about all of them but I've still yet to find brown, Nutella coloured mud. That's the colour that first comes to mind when I think of mud but it doesn't seem appear often outside of homemade pits.
