I've followed this Chris DeJoseph Productions for about 20 years, and just always hoped that they might include pies in the face for the women. Have never remotely heard of DJ Productions, but the overall comedic vibe is uncannily like if the Sillyfilms guy brought his schtick forward out of the silent era (and also added a bit of a darker and more sexual edge). Certainly those sound effects contribute strongly to this effect, but it's a bit more than that.
