How important is it that a model refrain from wiping their eyes too much or at all during a WAM scene?
This isn't to say that they aren't allowed to open their eyes of course. But the actual clearing away of mess around the eye area is what we're talking about here.

THIS HERE!
Lost count how many potentially excellent scenes become frustratingly forgettable as the model continuously wipes the mess off her head AS it falls. It wholly defeats the purpose of a 'gunge/slime' video.

I like for a little delay and even better, for a few pies to be delivered before being wiped away. That way, there's a little reset. If there's no wiping at all, sometimes it just feels redundant. Sounds picky, right? Ha
I cannot agree more!!!
For me it's ok if the model slightly wipes ONLY her eyes so as to see. Actually it's ok when she can open her eyes without wiping...
I love The man and the wife work. I adore their work. I also love Lilly. She is really good acting!! She knows how to perform good slapstick. The only downside, she wipes her face thoroughly, leaving it almost clean. Maybe, as mentioned, from time to time they can start from scratch again, after many pies piled up... and I say MAYBE
Congratulations for your excellent videos!! Pure slapstick!
I think ideally there's a balance. Not wiping at all could also ruin a scene for me, eyes are important for expressing emotion, and not wiping and standing still for 10 minutes can come off as unnatural, that's not how most people would act if they got pied in the face I'd assume.
I think you and piezone have handle this quite well, in a lot of the scenes I've seen your models will wipe their eyes enough to see but not clear their entire face, which is ideal for me.
I find anyone suffering any kind of eye discomfort really offputting, so I'd sooner a model wipes her entire face clean than tries to soldier on with an obviously irritated eye. In our shoots, if someone gets any eye discomfort we stop the cameras and provide tissues and water as requested, and any eye-twitching leading up then gets edited out of the final video. I've always been paranoid about eyes, I could absolutely never wear contact lenses for that reason.
I also quite like seeing someone pies with glasses on. They can then take them off, revealing completely clean eye area, shut their eyes, and have another pieing all over the clean bits.
Agree with the general consensus. Fine if done sparingly and of course if the model is in any discomfort. Can be sexy if done slowly and it's just the eyes. Spoils the scene if they do it immediately after every pie.

For example, the exaggerated, deliberate scoop from one eye at a time, flicking the offending handful away, with an expression of strained dignity... rarely seen but wonderful! Good wiping is underrated!
Yep, the best scenes are probably the ones where the model lets the hit linger, so you get plenty of aftermath.... But then does a great deliberate wipe. And it's not something you can really "teach." Some models can open their eyes easily, some can't (or risk eye issues), so you gotta appreciate the ones with great wiping technique! (Kristina is really REALLY good at this. She has a great "defeated" wipe that still leaves the mess intact.)
Far worse for me than wiping the eyes too quick is wiping the mouth off immediately. I will say, once you stop using shaving cream, this problem declines rapidly.
Bottom of the list? The videos where the models never wipe and stay motionless like hostage victims.... with random weird noises in the background. And when they attempt to wipe, the producer quickly blurts out: "No no no! Don't wipe yet!"
For my part, it's important to me that the first pie or two she wipes enough that she can open her eyes, and look annoyed about it, as if not expecting another! I really don't like scenes with the eyes coverd/closed. Once a video is on its third or fourth pie or slime, I usually start to lose interest, because they could have swapped the model with cookie monster and it would barely make a difference.
Although I do like to trick her towards the end and tell her she can start to clean the huge amounts of slop from herself only to totally trash her again with bucket after bucket of all the mixed up filth

It's funny some of those who do that having some of the greatest looking models but the whole thing is ruined for me when the model is constantly being told what to do.
Hey Freddy, I have a question. When do you and the Mrs. plan to do another shoot. She is such a trooper. And I don't think I have seen anyone ever get as trashed as her, not even Brooke Maddison and she is in a league all by herself.
Personally, I love a build up of mess (like a pie barrage), but I also LOVE it when somehow a girl clears just her eye area and has really sexy beautiful eyes but the rest of her face is still covered in mess. So on the fence on this one - I guess it depends on the situation.

Lash extensions, which feels like 95% of all current models now have.
It's honestly NOT a boon to me.... Taylor used to complain about "the lashes!!!" all the time (which is hilarious when you watch the BTS stuff), and Breana usually kept her eyes closed for the same reason. Lately some models are just using fakes, rather than the permanent extensions, which are great.... and also get disposed about halfway through the scene, if not earlier! (Lashes don't do well with whip cream or frosting..)
I'm not really a huge fan of the whole "looking up" thing, so for me it's definitely preferred that they wipe their eyes ASAP. Eye contact is one of the great things about these videos, you can see so much more of their reaction to the messing as opposed to having them all splatted over.
I'll share one of my favorite custom video sight gags: After getting blasted by pies from the clown she is trailing, sexy agent Jordan Kingsley clears one eye and snarls, "I've got my eye on you."
It's nice when they don't wipe their eyes, but at the same time they open the mouth wide, with the face full of cream. It keeps the scene more realistic. Shaking thev arms, screaming... Much more realistic.
