I love shaving cream pies for their coverage and how they stick around and build up on the face. If I wanted to get an edible type of pie that also sticks and builds up on the face similar to shaving cream, what could I use?

My basic white pies are fairly close. They do slop down a bit more than shaving cream but can build

You can't eat them per say, but Barbasol Aloe and Karo syrup are very tolerable if it gets in your mouth. Plus the consistency is excellent!

In the case I am thinking about I am not sure it's what I am looking for. My thought process was for a couple who would be making out after a pieing, so edible is actually needed I think.

That being said, I definitely want to try this recipe on myself at some point! Do you have any pics you can share of what one of those kinds of pies look like?

I'm not a chef and have no real answer but could whip cream or even cool whip be fluffed up enough?

The problem you will have is it melts plus after a while smell.

Wow! Never tried Karo syrup with shaving cream. Will have to give it a go next shoot!

Whipped cream gets the rancid smell. Cool-whip does not give off any smell after. I find using Cool-whip is much easier long term that whipping cream myself and I don't have to sleep next to a rancid partner for a few nights. Event the Wal-Mart brand cool-whip works without the smell.

I really wish we got coolwhip over here. Hopefully I will get to experience it someday lol

ive been using karo syrup or maple syrup in shaving foam for YEARS!

as far as edible? I would try whipped frosting and add thin maple syrup to it. whip it up to a consistency that isnt too heavy. Thats what im thinking in my head....

or? marshmallow fluff is good for a whipped look but? once you mix it up? the air bubbles leave and its still sticky and has a great consistency but? i dont know about pieing. it would be very very sticky!

i loooove the way this pie looks above! would you be willing to share your mixture?

and yes, cool whip from walmart is so easy to use-easy to wash off, it sticks, as long as you leave it out desired amount of time.

i do know some of the best pies I ever have been pied with? Were cool whip pies with marshmallow CREME as the base. after that? it got me thinking how it would be if you mixed cool whip and a little marshmallow creme...and? I need to try it! I think I will this next and last messy day of the year coming up! you should try it too. if you cant find mallow creme? just get mallow fluff and add the tiniest bit of water and mix. it will turn into a pourable creme.
add a little to the cool whip and mix it up! see how it goes! imma try it too!

Of course I will share drop me a dm. All my pies are based around one central recipe but I swap out ingredients and change ratios depending on what result I want, thick smear a nice splat or a bit of both.

I used shaving cream for my first few videos but the guys hated it. Irritated their eyes and they couldn't lick it. So I started using something called Pastry Pride. Worked very well. You can check out the results in my videos to see if you like the look of it.

I loved the whipped cream pies in Uppercrust and Abs Pecs and Pies that we used. I loved the look and I loved getting hit with them. I don't think the stuff is available any longer.

I thought they were all white. Did you add food coloring to the one I got hit with on the left? I gotta check Smart & Final for some.

I'd look into using marshmallow fluff.

I used to put pudding on the bottoms for the first few videos.

Have played around a bit and got something very close to shaving cream. Excuse the colour also trying to get purple to show up well lol.
