I've always preferred a 3rd person POV - I'd much rather watch a girl get slimed than be the one dumping the slime on her. But lately I've been wondering if that's unusual. How many of us enjoy the actual act of delivering the mess (dumping the slime, throwing the pie, etc.) vs how many of us just want to see it happen?

I think the answer to this will vary according to what you actually want to do, and your own sexuality.

From a visual perspective, it's better to be a bit further away, too far to be able to pour on the gunge yourself, so as to have a full view of everything. But from a personal interconnectedness view, it's better to be up close and personal.

When Lady J and I do things together, it's mainly about feelings and sensation. Pouring golden syrup into your partner's swimsuit while she does the same to you feels amazing, but you don't see much. When it's being done for the visuals on the other hand, then it becomes model and photographer and the distances increase to improve the view.

She's straight up offered to sit in the shower in a dress and let me pour stuff on her but I think watching myself do it would completely ruin it for me.

What's weird for me though is that none of my pictures and videos where she's soaked in a dress have her face in them. It's all from the neck down. But, beating off to her mirror selfies in cute outfits is no problem whatsoever. I have a photo of her first day back after winter break+ missing a week of teaching due to mono and she's in a cute sweater dress and boots and has a little makeup on (she only wears it for special occasions) and the grin she has on her face is hot as hell.

Just watching happen 100% ...and when it's a custom that I've written / commissoned, even if someone else has made it for me, I'm kind of the one who's delivered it by putting it in motion, so I sort of feel like I have the best of both worlds!

I prefer delivering the pied to the face and body myself. There's nothing more fun than pieing her with my own hands.

I love devices/release mechanisms that gunge the victim i.e. gunge tank. That way you get to pull the chain but get to watch the victim receive the gunge with having no control over it. The dream is to do this in real life, but in reality I guess its usually manually pouring from buckets etc. over the victim.

I think one of the issues is that for some of us one of the appeals of WAM is that it's something that "shouldn't" happen, that's "wrong" in some way. Doing it to a partner forces you to confront the fact that either this is "wrong", in which case it doesn't feel right doing it to someone you love, or that they're quite happy for you to do it, in which case there's a risk that it no longer feels "forbidden". I've genuinely struggled to get this balance right with my wife, and I think it's why, even though we quite often splosh together, I can sometimes get just as excited from watching a stranger on YouTube get accidentally messy.

Fortunately there is another aspect to sploshing, which is the textures and sensations. Sex while you're both covered in something slippery feels amazing, and very different, and I find my enjoyment of our sessions moves from enjoyment of the visual appearance at the start to enjoyment of the sensation by the end.

I get jealous if I'm not the one making the mess! And I like to be seen doing it.

As I film my own clips and have to self wam, I always like watching back.
I try and film them as if someone else has covered me in pies.

When I've ordered custom clips in the past, I'd just enjoy planning them so much. Watching them back and seeing everything unfold was so good.

I always felt I was a voyeur until (later in life) I was able to be the one dishing it out. There's no going back from there. But a big part of it is watching it back.

As I'm not really interested in getting messy - just seeing and getting women I find attractive extremely messy.

It's always great to watch a scene back (distanced form all the muck and the gruelling cleaning up) and think "I was there! I caused this! My favourites by far are the ones with actual partners and how it increased my attraction to them at the time.

I love delivering the mess so I can make sure it's going where I want when I want it. There are specific things I want to see, so when I am involved, I'll make sure it goes according to plan. I guess I'd be fine directing, but I'm not usually in a position to do that, plus I want to be messy too!

But, I'll also record it because I want to watch from afar later. And when I'm doing that, it's not ideal to see me or hear my voice for some reason. So this is tricky. I want to "get my hands dirty" but not so much that it will ruin the video for me. Just need to set the camera up properly or have a good camera person.

If we're not recording, I'll make the mess myself every time.

I know I'm late to the party but my vote is for both. For me it's all about the set up, so I really appreciate watching it happen and seeing the reaction when the mess is delivered, which is why I prefer to film it when I'm the one giving the mess. But when I'm present with a partner and we're in that space together and we're having that shared experience of setting up to take the pie to the face or getting slimed or just really horny and go crazy smashing pies in each others face until we can't stand it anymore and just fuck like crazy, it really is the most exciting and thrilling experience to deliver the mess.

Not that I get the opportunity to do it much...hell, it only happened once, and it'll probably never happen again. I can see pros and cons to both sides if you're trying to film/photograph it.

For the delivering the mess bit. It's great because you can distribute the mess as you see fit, control the speed, control where it goes, and if you've got a hair kink like me...play with the hair! The downside to this is if it's just you and the other person, then capturing the session will just be a camera on a tripod and you hoping for the best.

Watching it happen works great for being able to video and take pictures while it's happening, you have more control, but you have less control over the mess aspect of it and have to hope the model is on the same page as you with what you'd want done.

If you're just buying a video that somebody else did, I'm down either way, seeing it delivered or just watching it happen. I'm not really picky so long as the scene checks off my kinks.

Creamy, you are spot on here. If I'm in a situation where I am with a partner or with a willing pie/ mess female participant, it would be impossible for me not to get involved in both giving and receiving. I am an equal opportunity splosher, I NEED to get as good as I give. Getting obliterated in pies and mess with your partner and, in turn, obliterating them as well is the most erotic kind of wamming in my opinion. I prefer scenes where EVERYONE gets it, leave no man/ woman standing who hasn't been obliterated head to toe in mess. And like you said, seeing the anticipation building from your partners face and bodily reactions and then ultimately seeing their reaction when creamed is a rush of WAM endorphins. And of course, you can't mess without fucking in the mess. That feeling is just on another level.
