I'm wondering if others here may be able to give me some ideas on this.
For someone who absolutely can't stand the smell of anything cream or dairy, what is a good alternative to use for pie filling, that is available easily in the UK?
Shaving foam is the obvious choice, but it often looks a bit crap, don't last long when sat out, and can be quite unpleasant in the eyes and mouth!
I'm curious to know what sort of stuff other people have used, and how well it worked!
Can you get Meringue Powder there? That's worked well for me. I know I used cold water and sugar, and mixed it up using a mixer, although I don't recall the proportions.

There is vegan marshmallow fluff on the market. If I could afford a custom, I'd order pies made out of vegan marshmallow fluff + cherry pie filling + chocolate syrup.
