I'm looking to put together a sort of custom cheap slimelike substance for my girlfriend and I to use. Been looking for something that would be clear or translucent, smooth and not chunky, liquid enough to splash a bit and flow, but not be watery. Also, fairly easy to wash off in the shower, and hopefully that would not dye hair.
I walked into my local Wegmans grocery today and saw a large number of the syrup bottles for Jelly Belly ice cone flavors on sale for $1.87 each, so I grabbed up two bottles of each desired color. These seem fairly liquidy, but also hold the color and give sweetness without sugar. Now I'm trying to determine what might mix with these for the desired effect.
Anyone have any suggestions? Cooking oil? Milk? Something else that could give the right effect as I described it? Also, has anyone used Jelly Belly syrups for this sort of thing, and any comments on experiences? I'm especially crossing fingers on not affecting hair color, as my girlfriend dyes her hair and it would certainly be a bit awkward for her to have to get it redone again (though worst case scenario, we do have a shower cap - it's just not very sexy lol).
Thank you in advance for any advice or comments =)
If it's kinda thick U could blend into heavy cream for pies and prob less likely to stain skin if it's sitting on it for a bit. Or mix into cake mix and if it's oily it will help prevent clumping in hair
