Hello to all on UMD. I am searching for a particular piece of music. I have been looking on my own for nearly 15 years. I have a copy, as I own a store bought vhs copy of the film. At the end of the film, a made for tv movie, there is a lovely song with an enchanting vocalist. I want to give everyone the best shot to find this, so I am including a link to the film as well. From what I understand, the music for the film was composed by Stewart Copeland (from the police). I may be 100% wrong. Here is the link http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0155833/?_encoding=UTF8&ref_=amzn_dp_dvd
I would be very impressed for someone to find a recorded copy, that I will purchase of the song from the movie, and if there is more, that would be great. I have issued this challenge to many friends and have offered as much as 100 dollars US. Now, I am not asking for a recording form the vhs/dvd I can do that and have done that already for my own in home use. For the past 7 years this has been an open challenge for me and my friends here...so far...ZIP. I had one person try and give me a copy of the music from the movie....there are 2 distinct engines in the pull form the movie...would love to hear this song as it was recorded, with Song Title, group name, and CD/Album to purchase...a preview link would be awesome. I have tracked music I have heard some times for as long as 15 years, and have always found it, If you curious as to what song I searched for (and oh how sweet it was to hear it) I may include a link to it in a separate post. UMD, I know there is an eclectic group of people here...the song has an appeal to anyone who has tried to find it.... SO, song from end of the movie Legalease, Song tile, Artist Name, Album/CD where to buy it from....I challenge all of you. Good Luck and I wish for your success!

I spent a little bit of time looking, as one of my first experiences with the web was getting help finding long-lost music. No luck tho. Wish I could at least hear it....
Messmaster, It is worth getting the DVD for like a couple bucks on Amazon, the end music is that good. I am normally a classic rock guy. But wow, the voice and the vibe and the emotions by the ending peice of music as the credits roll, it sticks with you.

I have never seen this movie, so I dont know what the song sounds like. But I did find this site where you can listen to Stewart Copelands CDs (I did read that he is the composer for the music in the movie as well). So you can click on each CD name and go through the songs until you find it.. Then you know the name of the CD
It might be that the only way to get this track is to contact the artist, which does appear to be Stewart Copeland. Looks like he's active on social media: https://www.facebook.com/StewartCopeland. Something like you posted above should get his attention -- how much you like it, lengths gone to get it, etc. Some artists can be very accommodating!
