I heard Carol tell the story about this. She always hated when the honoree at testimonial dinners would go on and on and on......so she told Korman to just hit her with a pie to shut her up.

Yes, that is Dick Cavett who had a thing for her (I happened to catch a show that she was on. And she was pretty. And still is.)

There was a very clever pie fight on his ABC show, with his announcer, Fred Foy. Saw it a couple of years ago on Decades TV. It wad all done in blue chroma.
