Okay, so it's my first real venture into the wetlook forum and I'm blessed to find this discussion about where it stops becoming wetlook and becomes messy. I like both but didn't really understand where most fans draw the line.
Soapy is certainly not "messy", it's about as un messy as you can get. I think Mark is another definitive person to have perspective on this. To me wetlook is about getting wet in something you don't normally get wet in. I love wet naked women, and women in swimsuits, I'd still even call it "wetlook", but I don't think wet nudity generally appeals to the fetishist. Swimsuits can get away with it usually when they are unlined and have a degree of sheerness.
The wetlook forum of the UMD is unusual in that it does allow nude wet scenes as wetlook. Most other wetlook sites and locations insist on full clothing - swimsuits are frowned on and nudity gets attacked as "porn" and is unwelcome.
From a watcher's point of view, wetlook is fully clothed people, wearing clothes you wouldn't normally plan to get wet in, getting wet with water or occasionally clear, transparent fluids like oil or clear slime. Shampoo foam or bubble bath can be part of it, but nudity should not be, especially if the nude part results in the clothed part being rushed or incomplete.
Personally I won't buy any wam video, wet or messy, that involves nudity, as it inevitably means the clothed section is rushed and compromised as the model and crew tend to assume the nude bit is the important section - to a wetlook fetishist, it's the annoying waste of time on the end that could better have been used for more wet clothing action.
I agree that suds in a bubble bath are wetlook and not messy. As a wet (and messy) hair fan wetlook for me is all about wet hair and an all-nude bubble bath with wet hair would certainly come within my definition of wetlook, though I do appreciate that would not be the case for others for whom wetlook must include wet clothing. WAM covers a wide range of interests and even if you limit it to wetlook our interests still vary (and that's a good thing).
that is why in our drenchme store we call it "variety wetlook" bc we truly have a VARIETY. we have outfits you wouldnt see wet, COULD see wet, MAYBE would see wet, WOULD NEVER see wet and we have situations where wet would never occur....but we also have some nudity to full nudity. this usually appeals, honestly, to our fans of messy....who just want a clean palette.....and they buy the nude wetlook stuff typically if it is of a sexual nature, which typically, it is. i LOOOOOOVE the bubble bath look. i did one last year that i filmed in my own bathroom and OMG ITS ONE OF MY FAVE VIDS OF MYSELF! its sexy, the bubbles leave something to the imagination for a bit of a tease in the beginning, if you are doing implied nudity its awesome for that. with wearing clothes, i think bubbles look great with anything clingy, if you are appealing to a true "wetlook" crowd. and bubbles in the hair. lathered hair is a good mix to add to it! i think, just from looking at these shots, that you could totally bring this to the wetlook forum! but yeah, other wetlook forums dont allow nudity at all. this one does and im glad for it bc i like doing all types....nudity is part of that. coffee ramble is over. lol

I very much appreciate the responses from everyone.
Jayce - we have multiple empty tubs in beautiful surroundings if you ever want to expand on that.

I completely agree with the potato. On the topic of bubble baths, I dont think naked bubble baths really qualify as wetlook. I just never understood naked wetlook. Clothed to nude bubble baths are wetlook in my opinion but dont count if they are just wearing a swimsuit.
Now I'd like to expand on the opinions. Do you regard a clothed to nude bubble bath as messy or wet? Where does a full nude bubble bath fit?
I don't think nude is really wetlook as I found this and other sights to see & possibly meet others who enjoy getting wet in their clothes! I'm usually interested in female wetlook as in dunk tanks, pools, showers & even garden hoses. I agree in that I also think that wetlook scenes that turn into a nude scene are just being rushed and scripted. In all the years I've been a devotee of dunk tanks (In that I strive to either be around them or be IN them) I always enjoyed anybody who'll say, "Ah hell, Go for it!" and get dunked in their street clothes! I'm aways up for that and I've seen many women who are too ! ! !
